As bad as this season seems...

I'm sure our players will love receiving their Participation Trophies at the Team Banquet.
Bad year for us should be top 10. Talent will always flow here IF they believe coaching is relevant. No excuses.

Who could possibly hate this?!

Thanksgiving 1 year ago we were 10-0 and the #2 team in the country. We were riding a 15 game win streak.

Since the day after Thanksgiving, we've gone 6-8. 3-8 vs. P5 Teams.

Happy Thanksgiving

Compared to our rival we lost by a lot less points then FSU. FSU 6 losses by -21, -23, -1, -49, -19, and -29. The U losses by -16, -3, -13, -8, -6. And except for the LSU game we were in each game late and made stupid mistakes. I believe we have the youngest team that now that we have a QB and if we redeem ourselves against Pittsburgh some of those recruits will realize we aren't as bad as our fans think and some of those on the fence will still consider the U. FSU lost at VT 24-3. We really need an impressive win Saturday and in which ever Bowl game we get. Then all is not lost and the program will still recruit as that is primary even over coaching. Imagine if we had a legitimate punter and a decent QB coach this year what our record might be. Field position is so critical and we failed miserably. The turmoil at QB is inexcusable but our defense has been awesome...the Canes thing is not wins and losses, it is how we play the full 60 minutes, so keep rooting since it is still Great To Be A Miami Hurricane!

Here's a guy that's understanding football and actually showing why coach richt is still the right man for the job. This team is barely losing games, the difference between this season and last year is, we won the close games and blew out notre shame, but we basically beat Fsu in another drama filled game, kind of routed V-tech again, i kept saying it early on, we not getting blown out.

The young talent is being developed, next year, this team will be different and fun to watch, those who know football understand what's going on, transition, developement and rebuild in full effect right now, this staff stays in tact, the stability is important, the talent will start shining thru.

Its easy to look like a great coach when all the talent is already in place, but im more impressed with the coaches who know how to build a team into a championship team. Keep doing what you know how to do coach richt. Again those bashing coach searels, we have been rushing the ball pretty strong this year.

OP is proof that some fans will think Richt has fixed all the problems if the team finishes the regular season with wins against one of the ****tiest VTech teams I've ever seen and an overrated Pitt team. This is a scary thought since most fans are probably as dumb as the OP. The more I see of this type of mentality among our fans, the less hope I have that the needed major changes will occur. It's ****** to see that so many people support mediocrity.
Don't be so quick to label someone as "dumb" until you're quite sure first that you are not one of those "dumb" fans you are referring to.

With the schedule we had there is no way we should have the record we do, it's embarrassing and our coaches should be embarrassed about their effort as well. There are no runner-up trophies. You either win or you lose doesn't matter if it's a 2 point loss or 20.

Good God....

Should the ACC give trophies to everyone at the end of the year too?

Did not follow Richt at Georgia so I do not know if he made changes to fix problems. Hopefully he realizes his failures there (I am basing this on his record reported here) and is going to fire Jon, get on OC and get his head out of his...well, just hope he realizes those changes are necessary. In my opinion we have talent and hopefully we add talent and I have high expectations but as stated earlier with changes. Oh, we need special teams to be special too! Also Diaz deserves a raise or we might lose him and that would be a disaster.

Mark Richt just rushed to the top too fast for CIS to handle... we immediately won 9 games first season 10 the next then had a drop off this year.

If we started out winning only 6 games then 8 the next all of the Richt haters would be on his dck making excuses for him like they did with Al Golden.

A little drop off is a great lesson for a young team to use as motivation to dominate next season

It’s the participation trophy era
