As a reminder, this Senior class...

Say what you want about them, they all came here with a lot of football hopes and dreams. Unfortunately, those dreams were smashed to bits. That sucks, any way you look at it and while watching this team is a hobby or passion, it's their real life lives living it.

Having said that, I wish them well in all that they do when the final whistle blows. We've all been there at whatever level and that feeling sucks by and large. For some it's relief. Whatever the case, let's not be **** heads about it. They know more than us what has or hasn't been accomplished. We don't need to beat a dead horse about it.

there are at least 15 players from that class that are no longer playing for us for various reasons.
basically everyone in the class was a bust except for Clark, Nelson, Hedley and maybe Harvey. All the WR, QB, LB, TE and most of the lineman were busts.
we have no senior leadership because we barely have any seniors left that are actually playing.

That 2018 class was bust city. Fun fact, Lorenzo Lingard has pulled cars a total of 200 miles while training in Gainesville. This amazing feat has resulted in 65 total yards this season. I wonder if this is what he was dreaming of when he wanted to be a Gator so bad.

Our staff has no excuse for how bad this season has gone. This **** has been hard to watch. This roster badly needs an infusion of talent though and Mario will do that. Hopefully with some actual game changers.

Portal is recruiting phase 2... that is the new reality. Looking at original recruiting class isn't an excuse for failure to this extent...
Mario biggest issue is the hiring of Gattis and his archaic offensive philosophy... that would have at had us win 8 to 9 games

I think it’s dumb to insinuate all of those losses are on the players. Sure it’s not the best class, but it was def talented enough to win most of those if it had competent development and coordinating. It wasn’t however nearly good enough to compensate for the lack of those things.

And what’s the result of years of terrible losses? Demotivation, and a losers attitude. So yes new blood will obviously help, but if we don’t develop and don’t actually scheme to our strengths then future classes will look exactly like this one even if they’re better on paper.
