Artie Burns Top 5 CB

He's having a good year though. Couple of the picks were gifts perhaps but you can't fault him for that. His only job is to make a play in that situation and he has.

he also has to play wit a DL that struggles to get near a qb

Artie Burns & Stacy Coley both have NO reason at all to finish their senior year at UM. Get that money & NFL coaching.

Stacy will be back because nobody is interested in a dude that can't stay healthy. He really hasn't played enough games to demand a high draft grade.

He finishes the year playing like he has the last two weeks however and I could certainly see him bouncing.

Burns has been productive and has size a speed all NFL scouts look for. Corn is better and Burns is not top 5 and should stay an extra year but I can see him going anywhere from 21 to 40 in this next years draft Based on potential.

Some of yall talk about about coaching that dont mean jack, we still get kids drafted so enough with the whole "yea coaching put him in this round blah blah blah"

Now to artie, he hasnt been consistent, he will make one great play then get burned next, the TD he gave up was with man coverage he got straight beat i was right there in the stands, the pick he had at the end was a good pass and he played it well, he was raw as **** coming out of high school, he has the talent to be a first rounder, first it was his ball skills that was the problem and it looks like he fixed now, the next thing is his consistency that he needs to work on

He's gone. He might not be NFL ready but he has the measurables. How could he not leave? I'm hoping we can manage to keep one of corn or Artie. Otherwise we're in big trouble at that position next year.

These guys are getting Drafted in spite of the coaching they receive.

I love Artie Burns, but those picks have come against Bethune, FAU, Nebraska and VT. None have a QB worth anything.
Quit trying to discredit this man... We haven't seen a cornerback with over 3 picks before Tracy and burns in a season in over 7 years let that sink in... Probably longer than that....

Think burns has come a long way. But should probably play another year. And I'm one that always says guys should go

Denzel, Dorsett, and Clive all benefitted from playing their senior seasons. We saw what happened to Streeter, Washington, etc., when they left early and weren't ready. These guys should all hang around unless that are locks for the 1st round like Flowers. Duke makes sense at the RB position.

Point is they will always get drafted no matter what

Artie might be a first rounder with his tangibles, and with these good season hes having

Well did we still have kids go in the first???? My point is the coaches dont matter, you think buffalos coaches are better than major coaches because mack went in the top 5? If the kid has NFL potential he will get drafted

I guess we can chalk this up as yet another instance of the new-era Miami fanbase lowering the bar for the program who once set a record for amount of 1st rounders in a single draft.

Why sell kids of 1st round prospects when you can sell them on getting horrible coaching but still being able to go in the 5th round?!

He's having a great season, but still gets burned a bit due to poor play calling. I also think he gets a low draft grade and stays
