BB team safe this year. Sanctions would be next year. Example, OU took the bowl game and screwed themselves the next year (this past year)

I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA released the NOA, especially if it's bad for Miami. They will need some juice after yesterday's abortion and I expect to know all the details after they decide to pass a copy off to their closest reporting buddy

They're not permitted to do that, so that would be an another dagger in their heart if they circumvent the rules again.

Thanks Chise, I didn't know that. I'm really hoping for that to happen then because I'd love for them to keep digging their own grave

If we get the death penalty or something worse, will the basketball team be able to play in the playoffs?

Few details I can share: NCAA has wrangled with Miami over wording of NOA for "some time." Coaches named are starting to get word. More soon

Why all the doom and gloom? Shalala is now on the offensive, will prepare a scathing statement, release the contents and tell the NCAA to buck up and move on as we've paid our debt. I don't care what Barry Jackson saw or knows but this was before the NCAA broke their own **** rules.

We skatin'.

I can't imagine Shalala would have gone on the offensive if UM believed the NCAA had the magic bullet. We've got to have an idea what is in there...i hope.

The fact that UM received the NOA the same day it went out and signed Griffin as the19th player in this class is probably a good sign. So much for self-imposing limit on schollies to 16.

The NCAA can **** off. Let this process end and our reign begin. The dark is lifting friends. Finally.
