2027 Aroson "AJ" Randle Jr 4* LB from Garner, NC (Garner HS)

From Gaby

“The latest intel suggests that two schools were best positioned: Miami and South Carolina. However, the Fighting Irish made a strong last-second push for the blue-chip defender with an in-home visit on Wednesday evening.”

The buzz has been on Miami over the past week, and the latest intel continues to suggest that the Canes are best positioned”

Gotta get this one done.
ND not in his list— yet he agrees to in home visit on eve of his supposed announcement-
This tells me that ND strategy is chase same talent we chase, but when they’re not making the cut— swoop in and drop massive bags and blow away the competition….
That’s the only way we’re losing all these head to heads with them!
It’s gotta be $$$!
At some point they’ve gotta have a limit bc it’s sustainable even for ND to be buying this many recruits—
How do they pay them all? Plus portal NIL? Plus next years recruiting class— how do you carry that much in salary?
Desperation. They are desperate.

This was nothing more than ND trying to get him to delay his decision. Randle’s agent is Olu Olu’s agent so the relationship is there but it was a last second full court heave and it didn’t land.

The narrative that other schools are copying our board is silly and needs to stop lol. We are a top program as is ND and we all are after the same talent. There is no conspiracy. This was just ND with a last second shot trying to acquire an elite talent.
I never made any hint to ND copy catting us—
I did say they’re putting max effort on certain players and swooping in at the 11th hour with bags of cash— who they weren’t even being conserved as a finalist—
don’t like the Olu agent connection… I also don’t like it when a kid lets the camels nose under the tent day before announcing

This sounds a lot like the sour grapes that USC and Oregon are screaming about Miami flipping their commits. ***** ND and their pretentious, self righteous, quitter attitude, but paying players is legal now so we should WANT our team to "drop bags" for recruits. Can't love the game when it works for us but hate the game when it goes the other way. GABOS

“ND strategy is chase same talent we chase”. Those were your words lol.

Anyway it’s all good and all moot either way. The game is the game.

You’re entitled to your take but it isn’t sour grapes and it’s not the same thing as flipping a commit…. If we were dropping bags like tamu & ND then it would be— but we aren’t.

And if we were in their realm, then we probably wouldn’t be losing so many of these recruits— that’s factual.

We may have started the arms race as we were the earliest on the NIL scene, but we’re not outright buying out class or outspending them it’s not even close….

My beef is the kid letting them in day before— maybe it’s a to do about nothing, maybe it was ND taking a shot last ditch effort- like when we pursue kids committed elsewhere- I can se that parallel….

Uhhhh…. If they chase the same talent we chase— as I put it-

That’s an admission we all pursue a lot of the same prospects—

Polar opposite of “they have spies looking at our board” or “they’re just watching who we’re pursuing”

Just making the distinction

Anything that you have to qualify with "PROBABLY" is not factual. That is opinion, or conjecture.

I will drop this now.

Go Canes!

The top article on the homepage has us making the cut with a 3* LB. Ugggh (in regards to what it could mean with this commitment). Or maybe some double reverse psychology, 3D chess stuff. Guess I'll wait til 6.🤷‍♂️

What are you the thought police?

Probably means what it said— you’re reading in— that’s conjecture

Can’t argue that he who spends profligately likely wins more recruiting battles for prime talent that’s just logic, and a reasonable statement.

Probably— that leaves room for exceptions

This is a battle of attrition, and the parsing is wasted breath. I’m done. It’s gonna be what it’s gonna be.
