Arkansas State Post Game Plus/Minus

Minus- O is moving the ball and everything looks good and we start running double pitch passes and all other kinds of bull****, causing our QBs rhythm to go to ****.

There were multiple fouls on the play.

False Start # 74 on the offense.
Illegal black in the back #74 on the offense.
Holding #74 on the offense.
Lining up in the neutral zone #74 on the offense.

Most of them will be declined and the result is a ten yards backwards for the offense where it will remain 3rd, I mean 2nd.....

Aww **** it.

minus was pass coverage. howard worries me. always seemed to be four defenders around the wr but none of them could stop the wr from making a catch
howard worries me but in a different way. how the **** on howard and gunter so solid last year and now look lost in the defense. regression is something that has happened far too much at the U in the past 10 years. when i watch the raising cane vids, i see golden doing his best to hype up the players. what i really wanna see is players firing the players up. wanna see energy and motivation. we don't seem to have many vocal leaders on this team and i don't think the coaches help in this department.
I hate to say it, because I like his fire and all, but Tracy looks more and more like a Zone corner. More man he plays, more he gets beat. Didn't fight for the ball yesterday on some deep stuff. Made some good plays, though. I know he wants to play more man, but he sure seems way more effective playing zone.

BINGO.

You beat me to it. Was about to post this. Something people are missing is that we are playing more Man than we did last year. Tracy seems to excel more in zone coverage where he's been able to jump routes or read the QB and get picks. IN man, he's just not nearly as effective of efficient. Same thing goes for much of our other back for, with the exception of Elder and Crawford who seem to be adjusting better.

Im wondering if its an "adjsutment" issue for guys like Bush, Tracy and Artie. Having played much more zone last year, and now playing more Man.
