Areas of optimism this season?

No more stupid wrapping arms, swaying side to side bull**** before every kick off

No more dumb choo choo train arm pump when our defense is getting run through

No more "feathers" on the unis

1. Defensive pressure; Sacks & TFL's
2. The Secondary; Pick 6's
3. The running game in Richt's offense
4. 3rd down efficiency on both Offense & Defense
5. The Pass catching Corp; Richards, Bruce, Berrios, Coley, Harris & Joku all having a big impact season
6. Finally winning the Coastal
7. Beating FSU
8. Finishing with a top 10 recruiting class come NSD
9. Winning a Bowl game
10. Getting the IPF finalized & beginning construction

Cutting down on penalties is huge for me. How many touchdowns were called back last year because of penalties?

Looking forward to
1. tempo and not checking with sideline while hanging 50 on the regular.
2. Kids flipping when they peep the new O and D.
3. the new stadium, more fans in the seats, and a better gameday experience.
4. no feathers, barb wire pattern, or adidas under our chin.

Beating teams handily that otherwise shouldn't even be allowed to suit up against us. In other words, beat the cupcakes.

How many of those penalties were real? We had more TDs called back on ticky tack calls than any season I can ever recall. I've seen several seasons combined not have that many TDs called back.

Excited to see Kaaya as an upperclassman

Excited to see Stacy Coley finally put it all together

Excited to see our route trees and blocking schemes and play calling make sense again

Excited to see played get called in on time and no more amateur bs looking at the sideline it not getting set

Excited to see a defense that resembles a Miami defense again

Excited to see an aggressive hurricanes defense

Excited for the defensive line

Excited to see Shaq Quarterman

Not being out numbered at the point of attack by design will be nice.
Not playing a three man DL at the goal line with LB' ten yards deep will be nice too.
little things like that.

I had completely forgotten about the swaying side to side before kickoffs and the choo choo train arm pump. The entire process of purging this program of the stench of goldenism is exciting. It's like everyday we think of another example of how Fat Al pussified this program.

Brad Kaaya's production with college level route combinations and play calling.

Maybe. I'd say he is what he is. 100% immobile, inaccurate, a one read lock on aimer, who has shown an amazing ability to never make a play when it matters.

In other words, he's soft.

Smoke a Choad right on cue with his own personal black cloud that hovers over him and his "everything sucks" routine. Now he's taken to defecating on Brad Kaaya. A young man who committed to us when no other coveted QB would give us the time of day. A young man who came in the fall of 2014 and won the job. A young man that works hard and prepares like a professional. A young man who most NFL scouts have as a 1st round pick next year. A young man who persevered through the worst coaching staff in the history of UM and performed admirably in spite of them. A young man who has led by example from day 1.

If there's a parade somewhere, Smoke a Choad will find a way to rain on it.
If there's a bowl of corn flakes out there Smoke a Choad will find some way to **** in it.
Way to go Smoke a Choad! This Bud's for you!

Just glad I can pull for us to beat FSU now. I have been pulling for it the last few but always have conflicting feelings and knew we were better off losing.

This year, going into that last defensive stand with the lead, I'll be happy as **** when Shaq lays Cook out to end their drive and the game.

Basically just optimistic that we actually found a coach that you know is the right fit

**** that! We're never better off losing to FSU. I would rather go 1-11 and beat those ****ers everytime!

First round pick and likely high first round pick....

Perhaps you should share your "insights" with NFL scouts....After all, what do they know?

Other than what's already being said, I'm looking forward to a lot of emotion from players who will rise to the occasion instead of being coached to be mannequins. No more fading in the 4th quarter. I'm also looking forward to seeing what the game day environment will be in the stadium. So many things are coming together for the program right now! The future is orange and green!

A real FB.
RBs pounding the rock and also being put into position to succeed as pass catchers.
Play-action passes that actually fake out opposing defenses.
Better play-calling. Especially in the Redzone and near the Goal line.
An aggressive Defense.

Here we go.

You know the season is fast approaching when the keyboard tough guys with flabby legs and atrophied biceps are calling football players that will be NFL drafted "soft"

Nothing softer than anonymous blobs calling into question a player's toughness.

Go have another ham sandwich.

Coaching. It better be a upgrade the likes of which have never been seen.

If CMR is in the upper half of coaches, it should be amazing. The three worst HCs in college football history, Fester, Radio and Folden, none who have ever gotten a real coaching job since.

He may have one game a season against teams with equal talent. Maybe. This year, I'd say ND and FSU are no better, the rest are way below us.

We should win the **** Coastal, the worst division in college football every year, EVERY time.

I do pray this is not a happy retirement, win one more game a year than Folden, smile and quote scripture while losing, thing. Thats what UGA looked like the last 6 or so years.....

We should win the ACC more often than not.

And yet his Georgia teams during that period went 55-24 overall and 33-15 in conference. He won his division twice. His teams won 10 games 4 out of those 6 years. Not bad considering he is competing in the best conference in America. If he is truly invigorated, then Miami is competing for national titles by year 3. If he is competent Miami is winning 10 games per year especially in the ACC. He certainly is acting like he did when he took over Georgia in 2001. He's coaching with a chip and that's a good sign.
