I have been a loyal fan for over five decades. I have learned that losing is just part of every season. It does not surprise me. But, I get disappointed because I know that most times it is our fault.

But really, losing tonight isn’t entirely shocking. The boogeyman would be Cuse or VT. This was a Friday night game against a good team that is very well coached and always gives us fits. I’m surprised we lost how we lost, but not necessarily that we lost. Louisville is a good team. We’re good too, but I wasn’t too sure about that “best team in the country” talk when I went back and watched the prior games. We’ve played solid ball until tonight, but we don’t give ourselves much margin for error with our style.

What sucks is we were thisclose to being good enough to overcome a ghastly performance by the offense. Just 1 fewer INT and we’re probably 6-0. Had to be an all-time egg from Beck to lose. Made it hurt worse to lose like that.

But we clearly didn’t deserve it.

Bad night for the offense to play that poorly.

And my God, the penalties are gross.

The glaring problems we have seen week to week. Penalties then lack of creativity on offense. I think we all can agree talent can only get you so far. We need more creativity and more discipline. This team reminds me of my Denver broncos. They lack sound play calling from Sean Payton and the defense is great.

I’m really not ..we’ve been dog **** for almost 20 years this has been the highest ranked team we’ve had in a long time ..I’m just going with the flow

Start sitting guys. It's the only way. Even the OL. Get those backups on the field. No more protecting guys who are sloppy.

The entire OL has to realize by now that opposing DL's are going to try and draw them off. It works every time

Bell has had a few penalites . Last night, Pancake moved too. And Francis had a stupid unsportsmanlike penalty at the worst time.
