Knighton had a couple great opportunities in the Texas A&M game to make big plays and he didn't make the play. It's a consistent and frustrating theme.

If you create plays with wide open space for Knighton to run to, and he continuously chooses not to take it - then what more can you do?

Don't know what specific plays you're referring to (I presume some big holes that opened up on run calls), but he had a decent enough game against TAMU.

Use him in the pass game more often.

He looks worse this year. When you see regression across so many positions, what more can we do than conclude something deeper is going on?

Yes there is an issue and has been for some time now. He didn’t play in the last scrimmage and has played sparingly.
