Are we just going to keep crying all week or what ?

LOL its year 2 and half. point to me how many coaches we have a realistic shot at landing have won their conference and or a major bowl by year 2 and half?
Right, because what you just said makes anything he has won for us matter, or makes him having a track record of not winning enough of the ones that matter go away. Just because you have now shifted your point doesn't make him a coach that didnt get his *** handled by his rival, only 2 conference titles in 15 years, and a termination from his last job for failing to reach expectations.

Oh and his replacement has already done what you just said, conference and major bowl game win in year 2, and of course already out recruits him in the same setting.

Fire this guy , fire that guy fire. Then go back to " Rebuilding" another 5 years .. smh we don't appreciate **** do we ?

Either bring me a national championship or at least show me you are heading in that direction.

At this point, the fans aren't even confident we're heading in the direction of winning a conference championship any time soon.

What, exactly, are we supposed to be so appreciative of? Being a top 4 program in the state? Wooo freeking hooo.

5 things I would do if I was Mark Richt:

1. Rosier is the guy for the rest of 2018. Plain and simple.
2. Run RPO until it goes out of style.
3. Choose 5 OL and stick with them for the rest of 2018.
4. Use Jeff Thomas.
5. Make sweeping personnel changes on coverage units.

I hope you’re right. Because right now I have about as much confidence in that occurring as I ever had of Golden beating FSU. I just don’t think Richt understands how to adapt and change with the times. He and his son are just living high as hogs right now and most likely don’t give 2 s***s what the fans think. If they did we’d have an OC by now or some resemblance of an offense, which we don’t.

Our current HBC has won 24 of the 33 games he's coached here. Let that sink in for a minute. That's a .727 winning %. But hey, let's fire the guy because he sucks.

It's funny. I heard the exact same comments about Coker, Shannon and Golden.

What, exactly, would it take for you to think a coach is doing poorly? I am curious because his most recent record is not all that good.

You do not have to jump on the fire Richt bandwagon but to pretend his record over the last ten games is anything but poor is delusional. To pretend his offense has been anything but poor over the last three years is even more delusional.

This is why people with this position are ridiculed. He deserves criticism for what he is doing not excuses. Results matter, and no overall picture can excuse the last ten games. No reasonable person can justify the last 10 games and suggest that everything is perfectly okay.

A coach should not have to go 0-31 before you start to realize that there may actually be a problem you may want to consider thinking about.

It was a dose of reality a lot of homers on this board needed. We aren’t a very good team as a whole and criminally underuse our weapons. Games are going to be a struggle

I like Richt as the head coach. Good man, good recruiter (historically), loves the Canes. I will happily shut my pie hole if he would bring in a decent OC. We have an awesome defense, and we have serious weapons on offense. The TD drive at VA in the 4th is how he should have been calling the entire game. Simple passes in a scheme that gave our playmakers space. We don't have to possess a top notch O-line or great QB if we get the ball to our playmakers in open space or use tools to get them open schematically.

I am hoping he sees the light after a terrible loss, and we adjust on offense.

Richt and Smart have almost the same record at this point in their tenure at UGA (Smart has an extra loss due to the playoff).

Richt - 27-6 with a Sugar Bowl win and a conference championship (in his 2nd year)
Smart - 27-7 with a Rose Bowl win and a conference championship (in his 2nd year)

Everything is fine you guys. It doesn't matter that our "head coach" can't game plan worth a s-hit. It's all good in Coral Gables. The offense can't muster more than 13 points against Virginia but Richt the God will figure it out. You know he's a genius OC, right? I mean he won a ring 35 years ago calling plays, seems like yesterday to me. Everything is copacetic!

I was only in a minor accident. No problem, this is an easy fix.

We need to just watch the rest of the season play out. If Richt is worth is salt, he rights the offense and we win the Coastal, if not we play in some crap bowl in Texas or Louisiana. Both are real possibilities, the coastal sucks.

The offseason is what interests me. If Richt do like Golden did and stay hard headed with No D, Next season will be a disaster and by midseason this place will be on fire, a dumpster fire. After 3 offseasons this offense need to be revamped. Sorry with the talent we have should not be so bad on offense. We need to bring a west coast offense if we are gonna stay in a pro set. But whatever we go to it must be a quick pass offense. I done walked back from the ledge. Here is my thought. We thought fixing the defense from Golden would help us challenge for titles. We now have the #1 defense and we are far from challenging. I hope they fix this offense because i hate changing and chopping.

LOL if you think Miami and Georgia were level playing fields 3 years ago when both coaches took over their respective programs.

As always.. numbers lie. The remaining 27% are all the big and meaningfull games minus ND last year. 9-3 is what this coach is for almost 2 decades.

They were both 5-3 in conference with a staff change.
I am not asking mark Richt to win the SEC with Miami. I am simply asking him to beat UVA.

Pitt last year didn't matter?
Clemson last year didn't matter?
Wisconsin last year didn't matter?
LSU this year didn't matter?
Virginia this year didn't matter?
The next loss doesn't matter?

THIS! Since the 10-0 start last year, 5-5 in the games since, 2-5 vs P5 opponents
