Palaie is still out there, so far as I can tell. I know we've been told that the staff is not after him. However, two days ago, Coach Cooney said that there were no takes in the portal and that we would only take a unicorn. A day later, we took Oluwaseun, who was (1) in the portal and (2) not a unicorn. So, I'm holding out hope.

This is the year the CANES could make a big comeback into respectability, lots of things have lined up with some very good transfer portals guys and some young men returning that could have went into the draft. Only thing we are missing is a top notch LB so if Manny has any brains at all he would mortgage the future for next year the result would come back big in future recruiting.

I would assume that Miami knew he was coming before the interview and so that’s why Cooney didn’t count him.
