Are things different ?

I added Mesidor to my list as well. The guy has been unblockable at times
I defended Messidor like he was my son last year because I knew what he did for the team. What he was asked to do was completely unfair but he put his head down and got mauled inside for the team. You defended hin as well so I guess that makes you the mom and me the dad since I’m obviously far more alpha.

I think we have a legit shot at #6 this year.
I hesitated telling the board this, but here goes…

I had a vision last night that we played Ohio State for the championship later this year. I’ve been gradually feeling that feeling in the pit of my gut that I haven’t felt since 2001, and then I had that vision. Don’t know if it will happen or not, but time will tell.

I definitely have not had this with the Canes since 2001 though, and I have had these “visions” come true before. 😳😣😩

The revenge game and in Miami.. that would be poetic

the defense stepped up yesterday when the offense started bumbling around a bit
This is how high our standards have become though - we are once again getting frustrated when we don’t score on every single offensive possession! I laughed today when I realized this, because it is okay for an offense to not be perfect. Last year they did have to be perfect, to make up for the defense (I think this is your point), so it’s great how the team is gelling and more complete. If one side bends for a series, it seems to motivate the other to step up. The brotherhood is amazing.

This board is much better having Cribby on it and posting again. It’s a long season and we need to focus on one game at a time. We need to continue to improve each week. Cut down on penalties and giving up the big plays. Starting the season 7-0 or 9-0 or whatever will not matter if we fizzle out at the end of the year. This team looks and plays much different (better) than last year’s team. I am cautiously optimistic and ready to see the success we all have been waiting for. Go Canes!

It’s the best team in the country through 3 weeks. I’m fully confident in saying that. Unfortunately we don’t hang banners for week 3 champs, but I’m with you. This team is very, very good. Across the board. Yes we need to stay healthy, but so does almost everyone else. That’s a big part of who wins the chip.

But this team is ******* good.
Lets hang a week 3 banner. UCF hung one for a season that they did not win one!! Greentree made me!!

I have been especially impressed with all the good evaluations and talent infusion not just from our true freshman but from our portal transfers. I don't know if we have changed how we evaluate but this last year has been excellent in evaluating and bringing in that talent.

What’s exciting is we’ve gotten nothing out of Lyle Trader and Lofton and preseason we all would have said they may be our stat leaders at those positions. Still plenty of room for improvement.

I am worried about the big plays. Any close game that can be a problem.

We are a potential 11 win team with a playoff win type roster. Just have to keep improving and develop some additional depth!
We are a potential 12 win team there’s no doubt about it. Just have to treat every single week like the team is 0-0

100. Florida is in shambles but they have talent. Can Miami stay focused and come out with a killer mentality? Miami hasn’t played from behind all year. What happens if Florida jumps on the early?

FSU has talent and very challenging scheme. 1st big game on the road. Hard to even talk this game until we see what happens with Florida.
No peeking ahead.
