Are Our WR’s Severely Overrated?

Below average based off what? Hightower and pope have barely played. Thomas has been open a lot in his career but hasn't got the ball. I think it's still to be determined how good or not they are.

So he was good enough mentally in the spring and fall for them to list him behind thomas on the depth chart but now he is struggling?
 
Confused we didnt see Wiggins,Hightower,Njoku in the redzone with Cager gone. Running post routes with under 6ft wr in the redzone generally doesn't turn out well.

I only trust Osborn Jordan and Dallas receiving now. Thomas needs to step up, Hightower, Pope, and Payton need more snaps. Involve Thomas and Harley on jet sweeps. Osborn can’t be taking anymore of those.

I’ll be the first one to say having an O-line that would give up multiple sacks to D-3 teams doesn’t help with the WR’s having time to create separation, but it also seemed like the only times the WR’s “broke free” was against zone coverage. We hardly beat their corners or linebackers 1v1. Now UNC will be severely worse than UF, so this will be the telling tale. I expect some sort of schematic change to get the WR’s the ball quicker, but if we can’t create separation against an absolutely atrocious defense in UNC, then the writing is on the wall.

KJ Osborne is the only guy I have faith in, honestly.
 
I didn’t really have a problem with Tate out there.

Hightower and Wiggins aren’t slot receivers.

They’re outside guys, and Hendo and Wilson are pretty good in coverage.

Tate is also a threat to pass, so it gives the defense something to think about, which we needed considering the way they were pinning their ears back.
 
Yes. They’re serviceable and if we would design plays to their strengths they would look good-great

Martell getting 15 snaps to keep him happy is criminal and unfair to the rest of the team. Martell had more snaps than Pope, Hightower and Wiggins combined.
Love Diaz but that's how you lose a team over one player.

Martell was mostly on the field in wildcat packages. People are saying Pope got hurt earlier in the game. Pope struggled with the pays last year too. This isn't a new thing with him.

Do we know for sure Pope got hurt? And I’m not talking about last year I’m talking about this year. All off season we heard how Pope was maturing and taking everything more serious. Now we have posters making up sh*t. Show me where the staff said Pope got injured??
