Arch Manning to Texas

People really need to ask themselves this question. If Arch played a Dade or Broward County schedule for 3 years, how good do you think he would be. Average with a good arm would be my guess.

I don’t think he’s anything special. But no way Saban, Kirby, and Sark would waste a QB slot on a scrub just because of his name. He’s a legit 4*

Ayyyyy yoooo….watch #29 in this clip. That competition….

Dude is slower than molasses, and he still scored.

There offering because of the name & the way Mannings process the game. They're banking on the light turning on for him in a major way.

But no way, at this stage is he the #1 OVERRALL player bro! Lol. They got this **** w/ a **** near perfect score. How, Sway?! U know if bruh’s last name was Snitchelheisen (lol), he wouldn’t be no 5 star QB, from last name pronunciation alone. Lol

I told you guys a month or so ago Arch has a weak arm and plays against sHT competition. He’s throwing to guys that are like Bama’s receivers that are always open by 20 yds.You watch Arch’s film and you’ll see him running as much as he’s throwing..

If I had to say boom or bust in P5 I’m going more bust than boom cause his weak arm ain’t gonna get it done in the SEC…Jmho..

I’ve seen slow-mo replays faster than this; I ain’t lyin’
The Manning’s are geniuses at marketing and protecting their brand.

Only great QB in that family was Payton. He was the goods.

Eli was meh. Got lucky that he played on some great Giants teams with a bunch of ballers. That man should be paying David Tyree a weekly salary for the rest of his life.

Team sports suck sometimes. It’s crazy to think that 2 of the all-time best QB’s (Dan Marino, Warren Moon) never won a ring, and Eli has 2. Nobody better tell me that Eli was a better QB than those 2 HOF. Not even in the same league.

Spot on analysis. I agree. From what I’ve seen of him so far, he looks extremely overrated.

Everytime you see a highlight of him he’s either running or floating a ball to the TE which if I remember is a pretty good one headed to a P5 next year…first time he throws a ball from one hash to the sidelines they will be changing the scoreboard and it won’t be in his favor.

Head of the nail meets hammer. And Eli will be in the HOF, considered “subconsciously” as one of the best QBs in his era. Fact is, Eli is in the hall of good, not fame. He didn’t change the game; he had two WRs in Manningham & Tyree who made unbelievable plays for him, & a stellar defense. Even in the NBA, I love Charles Barkley, & ppl forget how great of a PF he was for YEARS, b/c he don’t have a ring, or ppl forget that Reggie Miller was Steph b4 Steph, b/c he has no hardware. Those guys had MJ & Olajuwon to deal w/.

Marino, Kelly, Moon, Elway were cannibalizing themselves to get to through the AFC, & then had to go against all time great teams in the NFC who absolutely ran the SB from 1982-1997, winning 15 of 16 SB match ups. If Elway didn’t go out on top his last 2 yrs, he would’ve been in that forgotten group. I’m taken all these dudes w/o a 2nd thought over Eli.

Everytime I see that guys name all I can do is remember the sadness as a young kid when the Jaguars tore the Dolphins a new one and beat them by like 50 points.
It was closer to 70 points. The darkest day ever as a Dolphins fan, and the ignominious end to Dan Marino’s era.

Can you imagine Dan Marino playing in today’s era? He would have 7000 yard seasons and 60+ touchdowns.
