AR82 ain’t comin back anytime soon

Something seems fishy on this one. Initially they said he was day to day, riding the bike everyday at practice, no surgery, etc. I don’t know guys. Very peculiar.

Hightower will get more time as the season goes on. He’s done a nice job so far. Everyone needs to be patient with Pope he came in later then Wiggins and Hightower and is still learning the playbook I’m sure.

I hate that the staff can’t be straight up on stuff or they just don’t want the media to know. It’s probably the latter since Richt and Co. hate the media down here so I don’t blame him.

The always common excuse that he is behind in the playbook.. why in **** all over CFB talented freshman's play and even more at WR and in Miami is that complicated? A route, a bubble screen how difficult is to run a route and get open? Is all a lie, Under MR is like a sabbatical he constantly play upperclassmen that are less talented. Why can't any of our young guys can't field a punt? Why risk your best WR and RB on a blowout again and again? Stubbornness at his best.
Ahmonn Richards literally just broke the freshman record for WR in Richt's offense. So that narrative is trash. We have a deep WR room. Guys aren't coming in here and just taking over from Day 1 anymore, unless they earn it.

They aren’t getting enough opportunities imo, our offense has a higher ceiling with them getting the ball more. Moreover receiver is one of if not the easiest to play at a high level regardless of classification so I expected Them to have more of an impact so far but maybe that will change soon here. I dont Even think I saw Pope out there vs unc
WR is deep. You giving Pope someone like Harley's snaps? Or Thomas? Just let it play out.

Dude needs to just take the redshirt and do yoga and other kinds of workouts to help strengthen his body

Dude seems to always get gimpy after his 3rd catch

He needs to be getting involved ASAP. He and Hightower have the highest ceilings on the roster at receiver outside of Thomas and Richards imo and we have poorly used him and Hightower so far especially with Richards being out...

Did you ever think maybe because Pope just isn't ready yet? Novel idea huh?

I mean Hightower getting steady burn as a #4-5 guy and Wiggins gets in games before Pope as well. Expect big things from Pope for sure, but "we have used him poorly?" WTF are you talking about?

Isn't there a couple guys with some info from Hecht? Is the kid soft? How is a bone bruise taking 5+ weeks (not to mention he was very, very cautious with injuries last year pre MCL)

Lies. I never seen dude act like he was hurt after a few catches. Yall dudes want to compare him to coley bad.

Is he soft? Wasn't he trying to play on 1 leg last year? That should tell you that the injury is serious. And nobody knows if its a bone bruise but depending on how serious it is it can take months to heal.

bone bruises can take up over a month to heal depending on severity. theyre not just a joke of an injury

pope came in much later than those guys i think (jan to summer) and hasn't had the same amount of time in a college SnC as those guys have along with the playbook.

Do we think he’ll get drafted if he goes pro?

I’m trying to think of a player with similar issues with health “problems” going pro.

He’s clearly got talent. I’m just not sure if a strong freshman year is enough to outweigh his health concerns.

I have never seen someone so soft in my entire life.
Soft huh?? I thought soft was a lineman who went back home rather than working a bit harder for his playing time!,... Or the ***** pitching a fit at the UA (or AA) game!

man i was fired up when Houston got Clowney, him and JJ on the corners, dude aint played 3 games straight since he's been there i dont think, well maybe but he is ALWAYS hurt

Fournette is another player that can’t stay on the field. He was also injured in college. AR will be labeled as injury prone even if he came back for a few games this year, he would be a late 5th rd pick or so. Not sure I see any scenario of him leaving early unless his goal is to simply try and make a roster. He doesn’t have any film on him in 2 years basically. NFL teams will pass on him. Hopefully Peter and 7th rd Management don’t sell him a bag of fools gold on going 3-4th range.
