AQM

I thought he showed some energy even though he was held most of the night. Ultimately though, just another meh Golden guy.

Sooooo I haven't re watched the tape of the Nebraska game yet (don't want to anger myself again), but I didn't really hear AQMs name that much Saturday. Anybody actually rewatch and see how he played? I remember a couple pressures but that's about it.

who?...the Jersey kid?

Cribby i got no beef with u bro but cam is a sub 60 percent passer.

I hate the if game but had we sacked Armstrong when we had him in our grasp ur looking at 4 more sacks... That's pressure

Armstrong is a runner that's what made him good before. Just like cam playing within the system hurts him frequently

He had multiple pressures. He did not have a tackle for a loss. Actually, he played badly against the run.

ALL Kamalu does is bulll rush.

AQM was pretty active in this game.....

Still waiting to see them let im and Chad loose....I dont want chad rushing from dt eaither...put him on the edge one on one with a tackle.

AQM had a positive game for me as i keyed in on him...

LOL he had multiple pressures. Had a play where he was setting the edge throw the blocker off him and made the tackle for loss. He had a great game.

Stop lying, dog. He made one play, that was all. AQM nor Chad get home to the QB b/c they're too busy "setting the edge." He was a non factor like the whole D line

Whatever you probably don't know sh*t about football. AQM was in the backfield a lot while being held on most of the plays

Brock, shut the **** up. Not only did I play the game I coached it and ref'd it. U along w niner and DK72 always got some dumb ish to say. AQM was not always in the back field when it counted. ****, he didn't even see real burn until Golden was finally trying to apply pressure into the fourth. He was used as a 3rd down "specialist" in the first 3 qtrs (which absolutely makes no sense) so what r u sayin' dog?

AQM's talents are being GROSSLY under used here and u can thank YOUR boy Golden for that. He and Chad should be starting at both ends in a 4-3 scheme, period!

I agree they should be starting.... You are wrong though he was in the backfield alot

Let me re-phrase, AQM was active, but he didn't get home a lot. He made that one spectacular play, and that was the last time we heard his name.

I absolutely LOVE AQM. I thought he was the best pure pass rusher coming out in 2013. How we're using him now makes me vomit. The starting front FOUR should be Thomas, Norton, Jenkins, AQM. McCord, and Harris should be rotating in along w Kamalu and Hert. Trent has no business being in over AQM.

+1 ^ AMEN bra.. Preach on to these clowns *** ninjas on this board. AQM is a freak. This staff already destroyed Oliver Vernon's Jr year (despite his supension). I dont want AQM to be another waste of talent in College and then succeed in the NFL. There is no reasoning/logic why Trusty Trent nor Kamalu are staring over him period. Hence, Chad Thomas can also make a case. Both- AQM and Chad are the real deal.. By the way, i agree that Norton is going to be beast, that **** can move..

He's gotta be careful because if he gets to aggressive then Golden will suspend him again.

What happened to AQM's and Chad's and Tyriq's first steps?

These guys looked explosive in high school. I understand college football is a different beast, but they just don't look quick off the ball.

Riq looked like he was developing into a nice pass rusher in '13, then he gets moved to OLB where he's asked to play laterally in space. I mean, Jesus.

We never get home with 4. Our blitzes aren't that disruptive, either.

It's taken Golden 5 years to build a mediocre-at-best defense that's littered with 4-star talent.

AQM's first step is excellent. He's still shaking off rust, but he had a B+ game Saturday. Brought pressure all day and made the QB make a ton of throws early. BTW, that QB is one you aren't going to sack a lot when you consider how much of their offense has the ball in his hands. He's excellent in the pocket in all regards, and gets rid of the ball when needed.

Why do people keep parroting this "Riq had a great first step" ****? Because he had a beat on the snap count against a backup tackle on a ****** Florida team?

Stop it, He also made impact plays against UNC,GT, & USF that year.

GT...protection was rolled away from him and the QB took an inexplicably deep drop which led to him getting plastered.

USF...who cares

UNC...don't remember

Pull up some video of him doing anything of merit during an important game. ****, pull up a Tyriq McCord highlight video. Or something. He's never been that player. He's been hyped because he picked Miami on National TV. I've never felt like he was twitchy or had incredible first step quickness. He also doesn't have great flexibility

"Twitchy" and "flexibility" are Goldenisms...that are used by almost all evaluators when discussing pass rushing talent.

Flexibility to bend off the corner when speed rushing and the twitch to fire off the ball and get the first step on the opposing tackle...but yeah, uhhh...

Folden...Conservative...press coverage...foot off the gas...derp

Did I do that right?
