AQM

lol @ any of our dlines first step.....

when they are taught on their first move being controlling the ol....

I played lt in college...i would love to play against our front because they are soooooo **** easy to block...in fact they come straight to you....

they are naturally taught to engage...control the gap....then get up the field...these guys even do it on definate passing downs....Which is why holding doesnt get called as much as all game all they try to do is engage with ol.....the one quick over hand move is aw Norton do against BC...and i think i saw Chad do one as well i was about to fap.....because i havenet seen dudes even try it since NO FRIO been here other than Luther Robinson who they told to chill out...and stop free lancing.

Stop it, He also made impact plays against UNC,GT, & USF that year.

GT...protection was rolled away from him and the QB took an inexplicably deep drop which led to him getting plastered.

USF...who cares

UNC...don't remember

Pull up some video of him doing anything of merit during an important game. ****, pull up a Tyriq McCord highlight video. Or something. He's never been that player. He's been hyped because he picked Miami on National TV. I've never felt like he was twitchy or had incredible first step quickness. He also doesn't have great flexibility

LMAO! @ the Goldenisms..."twitchy"..."flexibility"...LMAO!
And how many career sacks does AQM have?

"Twitchy" and "flexibility" are Goldenisms...that are used by almost all evaluators when discussing pass rushing talent.

Flexibility to bend off the corner when speed rushing and the twitch to fire off the ball and get the first step on the opposing tackle...but yeah, uhhh...

Folden...Conservative...press coverage...foot off the gas...derp

Did I do that right?

How many career sacks does AQM have again?

Why are you talking to me about AQM when my initial post that YOU replied to was talking about McCord?

Aight

What happened to AQM's and Chad's and Tyriq's first steps?

These guys looked explosive in high school. I understand college football is a different beast, but they just don't look quick off the ball.

Riq looked like he was developing into a nice pass rusher in '13, then he gets moved to OLB where he's asked to play laterally in space. I mean, Jesus.

We never get home with 4. Our blitzes aren't that disruptive, either.

It's taken Golden 5 years to build a mediocre-at-best defense that's littered with 4-star talent.

McCord can't hold up at the point of attack

Not if he's being asked to wrestle with a 310 pound OT. He shouldn't be asked to do that.

Take a look at how John Chavis uses his small, fast DEs. He's a master at it. He did it at LSU with some guys who were barely 230 pounds, and he's doing it at Tex AM with Garrett.

LOL he had multiple pressures. Had a play where he was setting the edge throw the blocker off him and made the tackle for loss. He had a great game.

Stop lying, dog. He made one play, that was all. AQM nor Chad get home to the QB b/c they're too busy "setting the edge." He was a non factor like the whole D line

chill AQm8 was pretty much unblockable out there. chill tf out

if youve actually paid attention. Coachmelvin is teaching those boys a lot of different techniques. Weve gotten more pressure in the backfield with him as coach than weve ever had under pyrite

the problem is our linebackers and dbs are still lining up too far off of the ball. our lb alignments are terrible. just terrible.
