Stop lying, dog. He made one play, that was all. AQM nor Chad get home to the QB b/c they're too busy "setting the edge." He was a non factor like the whole D line

Almost impossible to tell how good anybody on this DL is. They are taught basically zero pass rush techniques, other than "bull rush in a straight line and overpower the blocker." That's a staple of the AG era at Miami.

I'm not asking for Lawrence Taylor or Reggie White on every snap, but it's extremely disconcerting to watch us do nothing of note play after play after play in terms of attempting to disengage from blockers. Yeah, we got held a ton by Brasky, but that's nothing new, as our DL has been held for 30 years with not a whole lotta flags being thrown. But still, we don't do a whole lot to try and shake someone loose every now and then. Bad coaching.

Whatever you probably don't know sh*t about football. AQM was in the backfield a lot while being held on most of the plays
 
I'd bet that doesn't happen this year. He hasn't shown enough yet and with the new emphasis on character, I'm guessing last year's suspension coupled with the 1st game suspension this year would push him too far down to have it make sense.

ALL Kamalu does is bulll rush.

AQM was pretty active in this game.....

Still waiting to see them let im and Chad loose....I dont want chad rushing from dt eaither...put him on the edge one on one with a tackle.

AQM had a positive game for me as i keyed in on him...

In all honesty, regardless.of scheme. Of u rush up the field on running downs bad things happen.

U have to set the edge until run or pass is recognized ... On passing downs they were bringing pressure

Brock, shut the **** up. Not only did I play the game I coached it and ref'd it. U along w niner and DK72 always got some dumb ish to say. AQM was not always in the back field when it counted. ****, he didn't even see real burn until Golden was finally trying to apply pressure into the fourth. He was used as a 3rd down "specialist" in the first 3 qtrs (which absolutely makes no sense) so what r u sayin' dog?

AQM's talents are being GROSSLY under used here and u can thank YOUR boy Golden for that. He and Chad should be starting at both ends in a 4-3 scheme, period!

You have to be careful, and we're doing it just right. That's why our defense is so good and we have so many sacks and TFLs.

I agree they should be starting.... You are wrong though he was in the backfield alot
 
Four defensive guys I want on the field for ever play:Bush, Elder, Grace and AQM!!! These four are difference makers for us!!

Somebody mentioned that our pass rush/block shed technique looks limited. I kind of agree w that.

As far as us doing it just right... Jury is still out. Itsbeen 3 games. They look stronger at "holding the point" and look more disciplined too.

They left a ton of sacks on the field though. Guys have to learn how to finish regardless of the woods coaching.

Some people are composed by nature others grow into it through experience. Teams reflect their Coach to an extent. I hate how we buckled. It left a horrible taste for me. But if the players learn not to panic or get flustered in these situations its good for the future. Even with a new regime.
 
You still have to think Kamalu could accidentally run in to a ball carrier every now and then and be credited with a tackle. He has been downright pathetic. And these coaches say he's better than Chad? Cmon.
 
Where was all this DL pressure in reading about , the only pressure I remember seeing is after Armstrong had five seconds in the pocket or just left the pocket because that's what he does. We made a 53 % passer look like Cam Newton in the fourth quarter.

We haven't had DL pressure in pushing five years.
