AQM Suspended

One thing people dont realize is these are men not kids. Because they play football for your favorite team does not mean they are not responsible for their decisions. That being said i dont know what happened but golden should have been forward or just said we will release that when ready. This is why no one trust his bull****. Because that all he is. Bull****.

Dude, it just happened.
He's supposed to prognosticate 3 days ago that somebody will ***** up and get suspended?

This is an example of a team addressing a problem internally. Who knows what happened?
We probably never will, because it's a team issue, fans not allowed.
He was on scout team three days ago. But yea its dealt internally except when we lose and then golden gives us a thousand reasons why its our players fault. I supported golden all last year and then i finally realized how he lies and manipulates everything to make him look like its not his fault.

Maybe you should also realize that from Day 1 Golden has always taken all the blame.

"I have to do better." comes out of his mouth almost daily.

You have to stop believing the myths of the internet and actually listen yourself to the coach's interviews and pressers.

He always follows it up 30 seconds later with something like, our guys need to work on tackling, our guys made critical mistakes, our OL wasn't blocking well etc. He's right it's all on him. It's his job to correct these imperfections, but always passes the blame out as soon as he says it's on him.

This is what baffles me...

They say: "C´mon, support the kids" as an excuse to defend their passion for Gordo, but completely ignore the countless interviews in which this coRch throws his players under the bus.

Never understood grown men who fall in love in such a way with a head coach, to the point to cheer more for him than for the success of the program

Honestly whoever suspended him is an idiot. This university wants to play by some morality clause which no other team in college football uses. This is why we will be habitually ****ed. When you realize that every team you are playing is working to keep their players from getting suspended and all we are doing is suspending them for everything, then you realize why we are ****.

You don't get participation trophies in College football. Stop with this bull****. Unless he got arrested or DUI or hurt someone not on the team during practice then all you should be doing is make him do crab walks til he pukes and end it there. Tired of this jesus belt high and mighty bull**** because I can tell you AQM probably would not have been suspended from ANY of the top 25 teams, and I dont even know what he did. Thats how confident I am.

I dont understand how anyone can talk crap about aqm or the staff when nobody knows what he was suspended for

Is there any validity to thinking that at all of these "moments" when Golden decides he has to suspend, for example, AQM for violation X, that Miami as a University might be under heightened pressure to suspend just because of the nature of the last batch of violations? Not to bring the lame "cloud" thing up, but aren't we still under a few limitations like visit amounts, etc due to that?

I'm just wondering if this event happens, Golden and the athletic dept turns the other way and lets it slide, and then it gets out....Is Miami under any sort of "probation" that maybe other schools aren't? Are they not allowed the "slap on the wrist"?

I still will assume Golden is just being a weenie because he's earned that skepticism from me, but I'm just trying to think of all the possibilities.

Totally agree. One thing is for sure, he was suspended and never complained. Not one peep. If it was unjustified, we would of heard some smack from the kid or someone close... Just saying... Lastly, it was bethune, so meh.

I believe UM's probation runs until Oct. 2016. And, yeah, you don't want to get caught doing **** during the probationary period. Not saying it has anything at all to do with AQM's suspension. Just saying you need to be squeaky clean until probation expires.

Who knows what's true but people here are speculating that it was related to social media type stupidity on his part. Well that's all fine and good if we throw out that the kid was seemingly over-punished last year (as the staff themselves believed) and he didn't cry or act out in any manner let alone on social media- something 90+% of kids in his position would have done immediately. It's really too bad the "what have you done for me lately" mantra only applies to players and not coaches or administration.

Something I found interesting in the wake of Trent Harris beating out AQM at rush

That's the Seahawks RB coach talking about backup running back Christine Michael who was just traded to the Cowboys by the Seahawks. There ain't a great coach alive who is going to tolerate inconsistency. Now listen, Golden/D'Onofrio and "great coach" are antonyms but I won't begrudge them not putting AQM on the field. AQM gotta prove it. This game ain't all about splash plays.

Dude I know you defend the great Al Golden and comparing him to real coach with NFL acumen, but give some of that which you are smoking.

Charles Strong is not a bad coach, but with that same "jeesus belt high and mighty bullshlt " and Strong much pronounced stand that "if you touch a woman (regardless if you paid the legal and moral price) you won't play for Charlie Strong" attitude that has already told tens of Texans ballers to kick rocks is the exact reason that I don't want that dude nowhere in the Gables after they can his black *** trying to be some "moralist" Bill Cosby. As much we have sucked over these years, we've to do a better job to keep players playing not suspending them over bs.

I swear to God y'all niggaz don't read.

And no I don't "defend" Golden, I simply understand that when I go to the grocery store and my favorite milk ain't there, it ain't Golden's fault.

3 down linemen on the 1 yard line? **** yeah, that makes him and D'onofrio idiots.
No smash concepts in the passing game? **** yeah, that makes him and Coley idiots.
Our coverage teams not being an absolute dominant force with the athletes we have at our disposal? Golden's a moron.

But I'm not finna sit here and act like all of these talented players are being under utilized. Now if you want to talk about Golden's inability to reach a player like AQM and get him to combine his athleticism with a skill set that will not only allow him to start here, but be a beast in the NFL, then that's definitely fair game. It's definitely on the coach to get players to play the right way, but I'm not blaming them for sitting him, because at the VERY moment that AQM comes flying down the line to tackle a running back, while losing contain and allowing a QB to sneak out the backside for 35 yards when we need a crucial 3rd and 2 stop, where is everybody gonna point then? Everybody at that point will start with the lame *** jokes as opposed to pointing the finger at the kid who lost contain and didn't set his edge.

Unless your name is Lawrence Taylor...you ain't above the rules that govern the defense.

Nailed it

Take it for what you will but quans suspension was for nothing new. Was told last year's was to get right with the school. Opener was to get right with his teammates. #tfwiw
