That would be fine if we showed an ounce of being creative with our blitzes. I think we are better suited as a 4-3 but I don't hate running a 3-4 D, I hate the way we run ours though.
There in lies the problem though, we have this athletic beast that should be dominating off the edge. We will probably see him more in coverage, if he is able to beat out the more heady Trent Harris. McCord, who is a good athlete himself, played that position almost exclusively last year and had 3 sacks. That's an embarrassment.

I agree they dont run an aggressive 3-4 that hurts and hopefully that changes this year but every acts like LBs in coverage is the end of the world it actually benefits the players cause they will be asked to do the same thing in the NFL. Like you say if they came with more creative blitzes it would be better. but OLB dropping in coverage is part of the 3-4 Def is all im saying.
