AQM AND GRACE DISMISSED FROM TEAM

Regardless of what happened to these two player the expectations for THIS SEASON do not change. 10 wins and an ACC coastal championship or bust.

What if we win 9 games and still win the ACC coastal? Is it still a busted season?
What if we win 8 games, losing to App St, Beat FSU, and still make the ACC championship game because the Coastal sucks....Is the season still a bust?

Andrew has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Kids get free cars all the time. It's a really common thing with boosters of programs who own car dealerships. Maybe a soccer player is doing the loan. A big time football player doesn't have to do that. They can easily get access to these cars in the SEC. It happens at a bunch of programs, and I know this for a fact.

Man don't even waste your time with Andrew, dude is truly lost.

Coley is next

No he's not. 2 -3 games tops

So he isn't clear because UM and Pete say he's clear.

When did UM say Coley was clear? How do you know his issue is based on the same one as AQM and Grace?

According to Barry Jackson.

UM's top two defensive players removed from team; Assessing Dolphins rookie draft class with week to go in preseason | Sports Buzz

UM also had investigated receiver Stacy Coley in the matter, but he will not be punished unless new information surfaces. UM considers the matter closed, at this point.

First of all, I would NOT take anything from Barry Jagoff as gospel.
Second, re-read the line that you're quoting.

If we win the Costal with 9 wins and win our bowl game that would fit the criteria of 10 wins and costal championship. Also, losing to App ST would be unacceptable so yes it would be a bust.

I believe Demetrius will be a capable replacement for AQM and then some. I'm confident in box too over there.

Grace is just a savage blow.

WithAQM's history, I doubt he would have stayed on the field a full season. Still, I hope both find a way into the NFL just to get a contract. I doubt either will be impact players there.

Lol why would this lame @ss university seek advice from the NCAA that clearly has a bias against Miami??? Lol I wonder what the NCAA wouldve "advised" Bama to do in the same situation?

/ UM is the NCAAs bxtch

You don't seek NCAA "advice," you dumb ****. I've been telling dopes like you what the process is. UM investigated, found out the possible extent of the impermissible benefits received, then consulted with the NCAA to determine the length of the loss of eligibility based on the amount of impermissible benefits received.

You're too dumb to realize you have no idea how long they were messing with those free cars. You also have no idea if Grace even has the financial ability to pay back the full amount of the benefits he received, which is a condition precedent to even being considered for reinstatement of eligibility.

Understand this simple fact, simp: Once it is determined that a player receives impermissible benefits he immediately loses his amateur status and you need to go through the NCAA to have it restored, if possible.

Do you dumb ***** really expect UM to ignore the fact that those guys lost their amateur eligibility? Just play them, then forfeit the wins? Play them after you know they took illegal benefits and implicate the institution for a loss of institutional control case? Those are your retarded suggestions?

The only post I have given an infraction on and up voted.

You should rescind that infraction as he is doing this board a favor by educating the masses.
I just can't believe how collectively ignorant our fan base is of how this works, especially since
this program has been very intimately involved with NCAA issues these last few years.

Dude their investigation is done. Their decision is not to suspend him based on the evidence they have found. If any new evidence comes to light then they will make a new decision, the same way they would if any evidence came out regarding any other player. This isn't rocket science.

Something that has been lost throughout these 22 pages of the sky is falling...

Both of these SAs are still RETAINING their university scholarship benefits...WITHOUT still meeting the qualifications (i.e. playing football) for said scholarship.

At the majority of D1P5 schools, they would be have had that portion also taken away.

It appears Richt is a man of his word in building character and trying to take care of his SAs even after they leave the program.

I have little doubt these two SAs retaining their scholarships to attend UM is all Richt's doing.

Disappointing situation, but its next man up.

The sky isnt falling.

Go Canes.

You're ridiculous dude. You know **** well you're 10 win thing was about the regular season.
Losing to App St is unacceptable? What if it's the only loss we have all year?
Saying we are 10wins and a coastal championship or bust is ridiculous because it's too black and white.
In that same situation of winning 8 regular season games, losing to App St, beating FSU and winning the Coastal, What if we go on to win the ACC?

I'm just saying winning 10 regular season games doesn't matter, at least not this year. Our expectations This year should be solely to win the Coastal, and ideally to beat FSU in the process (Either reg season or Champoinship game).

The way this University has continually shown that they will roll over instead of backing their players is ******ry at it's worst.

Why the **** would a blue chip recruit ever choose UM?

While I feel the sanction is too severe considering the totality of the action, there's not a lot of wiggle room for UM when the terms impermissible benefits and future earning are mentioned in the same sentence. Lets not forget the selfish actions of both kids would most certainly jeopardize an entire season for kids, coaches and families who worked hard, bought in and sacrificed to restore UM. The NCAA botched the last investigation of UM's program, they couldn't possibly want to settle the score. Pick up the pieces and move on.

Yes it's possible. It's also possible we lose literally any player if evidence comes forward of them taking impermissible benefits.

How does Alabama get away with guns and weed and we lose players over a rental car?
It's as simple as this: An arrest for a gun or weed doesn't involve your eligibility or amateur status. Taking impermissible benefits means you lose your amateur status and become ineligible.

Franchise if this is true about the amateur status how the **** is Juwon young playing for Marshall?? His amateur status should be gone right? Something stinks here

Another genius poster that has zero clue on how this works.

Amazing the sheer stupidity that comes out of the woodwork when something like this happens.

Fortunately, recruits are smarter than this guy, or at the very least they'll be made to understand how it works, and how UM's hands were tied.

Juwon may not have been the worst offender when it comes to dollar amount, but he just probably lied like crazy and they caught him on it.

That's just my guess.

I thought our season would be somewhere between 10-2 9-3 And ACC coastal champs but with losing two NFL players on a thin D I think we fall closer to 9-3 8-4. But you never know what the magic this coaching staff has.

I would really be upset if we wasted Kaaya for 3 years. I hope this doesn't happen.
