Losing AQM is not really a big deal to me. He hasn't been really productive and we have alot of talent at DE. Probably our deepest position.

Losing Grace is a bigger deal but he's a senior and we would need to replace him next year.

Instead we are force to find his replacement this year.

If I told you the 77th ranked D from 2015 just lost their 2 best defenders for 2016 how optimistic would you be about that team for this year?

What if told you that the two guys who broke the defense in their 5 years running it were gone? Would you feel better?

I was never that high on Grace. I didn't seem him going earlier than the 5th round. It is a loss because of our depth, not because Grace was a beast. AQM is a loss, but I think we will be fine at this position.

When your team is on probation you have to be aggressive at enforcing rules so the NCAA doesn't get involved. It hurts but it was the right move. This year is a rebuilding year and a year of learning. It is better to take bumps now then have to take them over the next 4 years. We got guys that will step up.

This program has to win now. It cant afford to keep putting 7 and 8 win seasons out. Top recruits already dont want to come to miami no more.

How is the administration garbage because these kids did something stupid? These young men did this to themselves, and the school is STILL STANDING BY THEIR SCHOLARSHIPS. In other words, they will still be allowed to finish their degrees, ON SCHOLARSHIP, even though they can't play because of something THEY DID. This isn't a kid getting hurt and being unable to play, this is a case of two young men going and taking a benefit, knowing full well that it was against the rules. Should we all look the other way, knowing full well that the University is still on probation, and under a microscope?

Am I the only one who thinks that the players got what they deserved? They willingly broke rules that they knew about and put this team at risk of being set back another 5-10 years.Think about that-they risk having the NCAA give us the death penalty or some really ridiculous penalties so they could drive a rental car while the University is still on probation...for a ****** rental cat they risked their and their team mates future and could have made it where we might not ever recover.On top of that,they lied and tried to cover it up.Muhammed has been in trouble since he got here-he has 5 million dollar talent and a 2 cent head-just can't seem to act right.I am shocked by Grace and Coley being involved.The players are the ones to blame,period.From one side I hate that they are gone because we needed them to win games.The other side,I am glad the NCAA didn't penalize the whole program.Adjustments will be made and we will still have a great season and the kids get to finish out their degrees on scholarship.

In general this incident vs what we see from other institutions seems to send the wrong message to kids. Break a law and you maybe get suspended or have the issue swept under the rug.. receive benefits but don't break any actual laws and you're kicked off a team. They should even that up a little bit and at least make breaking a law a year long suspension or something. Imagine the recruiting pitch- in the SEC they have players who get away with guns and drugs.. plus players that openly admitted to being paid to play. In Miami kids who took a drive in a ******* rental car are kicked off the team. Miami isn't just recruiting against $ec bagmen, they're recruiting against themselves.

Based on he's our best LB and a really good player. Best sideline to sideline and cover LB on the team.

At least at DE we have some depth. Losing Grace is the biggest blow we could have on D this year (maybe tied with Elder)
