Not only that, it's just un-american. who else is asked to put their body on the line and not receive anything in return, especially when you help generate a tremendous financial windfall for the institution and the adults that run it.

The benefits rule is just another method to control and take power away from the players

Wonder if Coley is next. The NCAA smothers this program with attention while the state schools run wild with this stuff. It is ridiculous but I don't think Richt or the admins had any choice in this matter. AQM has been in trouble before so I figured he was gone. Have no idea what Grace's situation was. This team is going to be absolutely paper thin No wonder some people are saying we won't win more than 6 games. I just hope we can get past this year. I think we'll be okay then.

Sadly, I have to freaking agree. SMDH! Way worse crap happen at other schools and they go unnoticed or the violators are given petty punishments. These two were the 2nd and 3rd best players on the team. SMDH! At worst make it a 4 game suspension. Or worst comes to worst release them way earlier in the fall. One week before the season starts? What did u find out yesterday that you didn't know at the time Young was dismissed!

My exact thought. Do you guys really think our boosters would be able to out "bid" or give better benefits to a player than a school like Alabama where all they have/care about is college football.

I don't fault the school. With all eyes on us you have to make e best decision for the University even its a joke considering what other schools get away with.

The truth is that AQM hasn't made too many wise decisions since he's been here. This shouldn't surprise many. Grace, on the other hand, is a shocker. That guy has been clean since he's been at Miami. He's the tougher loss of the 2. We have line depth. Ugh
