It’s the approach. Lala gets a pitch away and rolls it over as is typical. Pitelli gets a pitch in and turns on it. No clue why Lala can’t figure out that is how you hit.

Don’t want to get torched for this, this is just for discussion.... is Lalas glove that good where he has to be in lineup?
 
Lalas broken. You get flip flopped for a true freshman and then That true fresh goes yard on a similar pitch you haven’t been able to hit in two years

As I mentioned in the other thread, I think he could use a day off. Let him see Thomas’ or Born’s name in the lineup for a day. Maybe it gets him going like it did for Toral.

Easy 2nd for Dubberly, and his pitch count is now back in normal range. Really incredible shift in this game.
 
If Born could start hitting, he could be in the lineup. He just hasn’t hit. Maybe Thomas gets a shot?

Has Born had a start since he tweaked his hamstring? That game was the first time he looked comfortable. Feels like just occasional garbage time midweek at bats since.
