But he needs one more good P5 job. Texas Tech is a good place for him before one of the big dogs come calling.
I like the route Manny is going. This ain't some joke to him and I know he won't hire a joke OC or someone who's almost ready, but not the quite yet (Yost).
But he should be phucking higher than James Colonoscopy.
BTW I normally like your posts. You tell it like it is, I like that.
If Richt was still here (praise 8lb6oz Jesus), this would be the guy.I'm with you. I'd lose my mind if we could get him at QBC, but I don't think that's realistic. I'd take him at OC if we had an offensive minded HC. But with Manny running the show, I agree with the direction he is taking in bringing in a guy with a depth of both OC and HC experience. Maybe in two years if Fedora/Applewhite kills it here, Yost can be our next OC. This is why I could care less about people worrying about whether our OC hire is going to stay here long term. Who gives a fudge about that? Hire a talented schemer and playcaller that fits what we need right now, win some games, and when the position is open again, find another great mind who fits what we need at that time.
Thanks for clarifying your vote. It's nice to know what the actual thought process is.
