APP STATE

App State is a well-coached team that will play pretty disciplined football (at least one offense). Peoples is a solid RB with power who lacks speed and elite traits. Their OL isn't full of special dudes, but they execute their zone blocking scheme pretty well. And Chase Brice looked pretty solid at QB against ECU.

But that defense is subpar and small. I'm expecting this to be more of a 33-17 type of game.
No offense to ECU, but it IS ECU. I would need to ask honestly is this kid that much different than the one that threw for 94 yards last year? I get he was 20-25, but still had less than 100 yards.

I was there too. The Walton play took the souls of 25,000 people all at once. They were reduced to band members claiming our team groped them coming out of the tunnel.
It was like a playoff game until after half time and the stands on the home side were **** near empty. That’s how close it was. Lol

You would hope the team comes out focused looking to make up for a poor performance against Bama, if we don't, this will be a dogfight.

You're not wrong. That's why I qualified my statement. But I watched about 3 quarters of the game, and like I said, he looked pretty solid. I don't think he'll magically transform into some All-American this season, but he's not a complete sack of potatoes either.

This should be a good game. Will be a lot closer than it needs to be till we grind it out in the fourth.

fans just like we are now. if we dont Bully App state I will be freaking shocked and disappointed
Gotcha. Yeah fans are either way over confident or super panicky. There’s no in between. That last game we played in Boone wasn’t a good game. Miami outgained them 550-250 and had a 24-3 half time lead.
App State isn’t garbage but they’re not particularly great either. I’ll be very concerned if Miami doesn’t win fairly easily.

Kinda like they are now?

App State is 28-6 in their last 34 games. Those 6 losses were by 7, 20, 3, 10, 11, and 3 points. I believe our talent will win out in the end, but I'd be somewhat surprised if we win by 3 scores. This team is going to be as jacked up as you can possibly be to come down here, as almost every team we play is. The logo still holds a lot of weight. But Vegas is pretty high on Miami this year, and the line opened at 7 (has since gone to 8). Shows you how much respect they have for App State. I think they'd be a middle of the road ACC team, which is about what we've proven to be recently. If we're an upper tier ACC team, like many of us think we should be, we win the game somewhat easily. But I don't see 45-10 again, that was a really weird game and basically everything went our way.
App st can be tough.

In 2017 they played UGA tough losing 31-10

2018 Ped st beat them by just 7

2019 they beat UNC by 3

They returned like 18 starters on a 9 win team. They have good Wide Receivers and a decent RB.

Miami - 31
App St- 26

Is that Chase Brice who was at Duke? That dude is good for 3 interceptions on Saturday. Book it
