App Game Sold Out

what are canes sections?

I know 109 is. I just got 2 in that section on stubhub $169 each. I think either 108 or 110 is the other canes section.Best deal you'll find unless you want to sit in their student section or the grass hill.

There's 6 left in the section I got them in btw.

The game at App State is officially showing as sold out. I'm sure you'll find folks selling tickets on Stub Hub, but the chance to get them from the App State ticket site is now closed.

I look forward to seeing you in Boone in just a few weeks. Here's to an injury-free time for all of our players between now and then!
Thanks for the heads up post the other day. It got me looking at their site and noticed they went on sale 8/2. It was the first thing I checked at 6am this morning. Thankfully it said tickets are up for sale at 9am so I made and account and was ready to go. Easily got 2 tickets in 110. It's row 2 or 3 so I'm wondering if the view will be lackluster that low? But it's right at the canes bench so I'm happy. Seeing they're on the hub for 200+ already makes it even better. Only $64 a ticket, I'm pumped.

Very small stadium! Tickets will be hard to come by.

Listed stadium capacity is lower than actual capacity due to the general admission area (grass hill in the south endzone). That's one reason we average over 100% of capacity in attendance most years.

I just wish we were playing y'all in November when our whether is absolutely beautiful (if you like snow :sneakiness:)!

Must be an APP State English major. "Weather" or not he;s serious.

You'll be fine for seeing most plays. 110 is a good section to be in. You'll definitely be right behind the 'Canes bench but should be ok.

App Fan,

What is the view like from the grass hill? Would it be worth it to sit there?

It's actually pretty good for everything except the far end of the field if you sit near the top of the grass hill. There's also a smaller grass section on the north end of the west stands that has been GA in the past. With GA in the past folks have been able to move around, so you should be fine.

I'm laughing out loud ... I'm a bit of a grammar guru and hate to make grammatical mistakes. Thanks for the catch!

mind blown people actually paying and driving up to see this game

as if we were playing notre dame or something

we have a first overall draft pick at qb, SEC coordinators at every position with a borderline genius calling offensive plays

this should be like an nfl team playing a college team

In that respect, the only reason to go is because it's a nice and scenic part of the country and its a break from the heat.

People are generally pretty nice, although there can be a pretty strong undercurrent of resentment towards "outsiders", especially Floridians.

Should be but I doubt it will be, this will be their super bowl. I wonder how many tickets Miami got?

Why would I not drive to see my favorite team when they're the closest they've ever been to where I live? If I had the chance I'd be there for all 12 games including FAMU.

You're negating the national following The U has. Plenty of folks coming to the game are Miami fans who live an hour or two from Boone and can't always make the "home" games.

That said, I'll definitely be making the effort to get from here to Miami when we play down there.

I consider our game at Tennessee to be our biggest OOC game of the year. Miami at home is a huge game for sure, but getting to play in a packed Neyland Stadium will be sweeter in some respects.

I think the reasons the game sold out so quickly are easy to peg. Miami is the first P5 team to come to Boone since we started calling teams P5 and G5, so it's something outside the norm. Then you've got the fact that Miami is, well, Miami. I know the last decade hasn't been the best, but you've got a great coach now. You've got the players. Things are going to start clicking fast.

If you hear banjos, paddle faster.

Do you know how long the drive from New Bern/Havelock NC to Boone is?
