And conversely, their best win would theoretically be Auburn (if they do win out), who at that point would be 8-4. To date, their best win is @Texas A&M, who is 6-3 and will more than likely finish 7-5.

They should absolutely not be close to the top 4 right now.

Agreed. Losing at home unranked USCe drops them near the bottom of one-loss teams.
