AP ACC Breakout Players to Look Out For in 2018 - QB Malik Rosier

Who is Perry 3rd behind? Who took 1st team reps besides him and Rosier? Yeah, Richt and other coaches might have pointed out things he needs to improve on to maintain where he is or improve his standing, but they pretty much said that about everybody. I'm not buying for a second that Perry has been passed up on the depth chart, and nobody with official ties to the University has said this. What I refuse to believe is all this chicken little nonsense regarding Perry, and the utter hatred for Rosier coming from people claiming to be fans. So a guy who had poor opportunities to develop as a pocket passer due to his high school system hasn't yet passed up an 11-3 5th year Senior after his first spring camp. How dare that ******* bum stay on campus wasting a scholarship, amirite?

I don't know. I don't know if Rosier starts the season. I don't know if Rosier makes it through summer workouts and fall camp without going down due to injury or illness. I don't know that if he starts the LSU game that he finishes that game, let alone the entire season. I don't care either. I hope that if he is not performing or gets injured or falls ill that we have a suitable replacement. I don't know why you're having such a hard time understanding this--well, I do. You're ******* stupid--, but you don't know **** either. You think that because you read an article about accuracy, that if Richt does decide to start someone else, he'll be basing the decision solely on that one criteria. Bull****. We run a balanced offense. Only on 50% of the snaps will QB accuracy ever even enter into the equation, and Rosier completes a pass on over half of those.

You've never once seen any of the other four guys operate in live action. You don't know **** about their accuracy, moxie, football IQ, play recognition, or grasp of defensive coverage concepts. You're making a wild *** ******* guess based on a god**** article, and you're stupid enough to bet money on it. It's literally a coin flip whether any player ever finishes a season. You are that stupid.

Well I'm not. I have no idea what's going to happen. What I do know is that Trevor Knight never led Oklahoma to 11 wins, plenty of sub-60% guys have had successful--even championship, award winning--seasons in college, and even more 60%+ guys have failed to succeed in or even make it to the NFL. That has been my position all along. Yours has been built on a lie you tried to pass over to support your position hoping nobody would notice, and when they did you started pounding your chest like an autistic baboon and calling people pu$$ies.

You said Blake Bell was the starter in 2013 until injured. Wrong. Knight was the named starter at the beginning of the season until he got injured, then Bell took over, Stoops stuck with Bell even after Knight was healthy because Bell was far more accurate and the offense worked much better, Bell got injured, Knight took over again. After the Sugar Bowl win Knight was crowned as the future of Oklahoma football even though he was inaccurate throughout the season (but actually more accurate than Rosier) because he made "clutch" plays, then he promptly flopped the following season. What's with your inability to answer a simple question? Rosier finishes the season as QB, yes or no?

Knight led Oklahoma to two consecutive 11 win seasons then got benched for being inaccurate, yes or no?

When did you hear me say Rosier is a "great NCAA QB?" You didn't. You're making it up just like the rest of your argument. Nobody is defending Rosier. We're just simply calling your little assertion that we can't be successful without a >60% QB for what it is, friggin stupid.

Nobody is arguing this.

Again, stop trying to imply that my argument is that Rosier is good. **** boy! You slow or something?

Why would I gamble on a position that I have not taken? When did I assert that Rosier would start game 1? When did I say he would start every game? When did I ever even say Rosier was accurate? You have problems, kid, and they ain't minor.

My opinion has never been that Rosier is accurate, will start, or should remain the starter, but rather that Richt will start the person he believes gives us the best chance to win.

I have a better proposal. Hows about I raise the wager to $1,000, but only if you can quote where I even implied in this thread that Rosier was going to be the starter for the entire season.

No you didn't. The question has a yes or no answer. You wrote a paragraph trying to slither out of having to take a position. Your next post should be one word. YES or NO. Rosier finishes next season as starting QB.

I don't have a position. I've never had one. Never implied one. Don't know why I need a position. Don't know why you think, "may the best man win the job" isn't a valid position. Other than you being a ******* idiot, of course.

On the other hand, you did announce a position on this:

Knight led Oklahoma to two consecutive 11 win seasons then got benched for being inaccurate, yes or no?

Now defend it, *****. Quit deflecting.

Which one of us is deflecting? Eighth time asking: Yes or no. Rosier finishes the season as starting QB?

You are deflecting away from your false statement that Knight led OU to two back-to-back 11 win seasons before being replaced by Mayfield due to accuracy by asking me for a yes/no prediction of future events. Man up and take this L.

Yes, asking you for a prediction of future events. That's why it is called a prediction. We'll see who is right at the end of the season. Yes or No. Rosier is starting QB at the end of the season.

Perhaps you should just stick to past events until you can establish accuracy with those.

You are a coward.
Because I won't argue in favor of a position that I've never tried to make just because that's the only position you are capable of arguing against? Blow me, *****. I'm not about to take the position you want me to take just because you read an article. Assuming the position is something little b!tches like you do.

I guess it's not cowardly to be caught in a demonstrable lie, yet be too afraid to own up to the fact that you've been wrong since the beginning of this debate.

It's much more cowardly, I guess, to refuse to be baited into a position I never took.

Maybe if you double dog dared me, tho...:monkey-serious:

I'm not trying to bait or trick you. I don't care if you'd posted 29 times about your favorite cheese and hadn't mentioned football at all. Question would be the same:

Yes or no. Rosier finishes the season as starting QB

I didn't post about cheese. I posted about you making up lies to try to prove a point, and then change the subject to whether Rosier starts all of 2018, like that was ever the discussion.

Knight led Oklahoma to two consecutive 11 win seasons then got benched for being inaccurate, yes or no?

Now you want to talk about cheese instead of whether or not you were completely full of **** when you said Knight led Oklahoma to two consecutive 11 win seasons then got benched for being inaccurate. Speaking of which, would you consider that statement to be accurate? Did your little article on accuracy cover that?

I asked first. I'll answer your question after you answer mine.
