It never occurred to me that he would leave early. But after rewatching the game, I'm not so sure. I can see him easily in the middle rounds. He has come so far so fast.

No, but just because of “measurables”. He’s not NFL prototype. This does NOT mean he can’t have a great NFL career, just that they won’t draft him in the first three rounds as a 3 year guy.

No.

His size will be an issue - that alone will cause him to drop until the mid to later rounds. He’s also not a guy that will wow the idiots with a 4.3 40 and other gaudy combine numbers.

As cane fans, we know all know what he brings to the table....GMs will end up putting more stock in his measurables than his actual play on the field.

Stay and give the scouts more tape.

No way he's gone, scouts will likely need to see more. The DB's played very average the first half of the season. To be a high draft pick, the scouts would probably have to see more consistency. Another year could put him in good position.

I say no even if his stock is high I think he'll come back if we don't win it all. **** He might be our first all american since 2005.

The sophomore, juniors should take a lesson in how much money was missed out on by the kids leaving early last year

No. Compare him to Ahmad Black who was much more highly decorated at this point, stayed 4 years and was drafted in the 5th round. Jaquan is better against the run so he might be drafted higher but it would be unusual if he declared.

Our dbs and the class they are in is great. Michael Jackson, jaquan and redwine will be seniors next year allowing the loaded 2018 db class coming in to get some redshirts and unnecessary burn.

Hoping Dean picks it up, and glad Malek and Bandy will make that 18 class better and vice versa

cut the "measurables" nonsense, a baller is a baller regardless of "measurables". He will never be a top 3 draft pick if it was only about "measurables"

Excellent comparison....even though he’s a gator.

Ed Reed could give him advice. His sr. year established him as a solid 1st round talent. Only RBs and maybe DL should go early if it's a close call.
