Anyone not wanting Kelly or another transfer is clueless

And all of the media reports out of camp consistently had Malik practicing with the 1's despite it being a "QB competition". I always laugh when people keep saying that Williams/Weldon/Perry couldn't beat Malik out. They were fighting an uphill battle with Richt's approach. Kosi had 1 bad quarter and Richt pulled him with the quickness. Meanwhile, the only good games Malik had were against Savannah State and Toledo.

There was never a true competition - and because of that we may find ourselves worse off next season than now. Idk how anyone thinks there will be anything different if Bryant is brought in.

Yes, LSU is winning because of their QB. And you’re right, he is average. Average, but smart. I’ve watched him check out of bad plays and scramble at the right time and throw the ball away when he could. And that should tell you how close Miami was to being undefeated at this point of the season.

As we all know you don’t always need a Tom Brady to win the Super Bowl, sometimes a Trent Dilfer can suffice. In college that’s even more exaggerated.

Led them to a whopping 0 points against Bama.

Worst case scenario is he comes in and raises the level of play from the back ups and one of them beats him out. It is about building depth and competition with quality players, if the other don't like they can beat him out.
Actually, it's a cop out by Richt for not being able to develop neither of the 3 young guns he has on the roster and having them ready to be a full go by opening day in Orlando. It's amazing how Clemson(Lawrence), UGA(Fromm), Bama(Tua), Pitt(Pinkett) and so on can manage to get young qbs ready in the playbook, in the filmroom, and on the field and CMR and son continually persist that UM guys are not ready yet after a year or 2 in his crayonbook offense...

You bring a grad transfer in when you're missing that key piece to compete for the CFP and/or natty. All CMR wants to do is continue to run his rundown offense, not make changes, and not revamp the offensive staff. Stop falling for the old man being lazy and not wanting to reevaluate his personnel and bring in a modern day OC.

You call it depth and competition; i call BS and stubbornness.

I love all this "it wasn't a true competition" nonsense. Richt told Malik "you'll never play for me" at one point last year, now he's so in love with him he refused to give someone else a chance?

The real answer is nobody else took the job. He was competing with 2 kids who didn't/weren't remotely putting in the work. 2 kids with a combined 3 suspensions. Sorry, this is the real world. Even if Rosier is awful, which we all know he is and you bet your *** Richt knows he is, the other kids sabotaged themselves. I suppose it's Richt's fault that Weldon refuses to stop smoking weed and Kosi is at Sandbar every night.

There's a ton to criticize Richt over right now. But saying that Rosier was handed the job without any competition is laughable. Again, this isn't playstation. There's more to this job than showing up on Saturday afternoon. Rosier was the only one remotely mature enough to play earlier this year.

It says beat his *** out! If you can play, show me and put this kid on the **** bench. Be a man and a leader and show me you're better.

Jesus, all you dudes sit around and jerk off to The U documentaries...how many times was it mentioned that the greatest competition those kids faced was on Greentree? The games were the easy part because the practices were so fierce. Now you're questioning what it will say to Jarren and Kosi if you bring in a kid to compete with them? You come to The U to compete. He's expecting immediate PT...**** right he is. As should Kosi and Jarren. Go take it.
Actually, you're the one being a jerk off to CMR. He's not the same breed of a coach as those in greentree history. Richt is the kind of guy that will promise a guy a qb1 spot, get in front of the media and state that it's an open competition, and then give 80% of the 1st team reps to the guy and states, " Bryant is the guy i feel that gives us the best chance to win"...i wouldn't mind being your agent/attorney/advisor; you fall for anything even when the obvious has slapped you in the face. I will rob you blind and sell you on the system being crooked

Hahah ok. He promised a the job that he knows is awful. It had nothing to do with Perry and Weldon being immature and not remotely ready.

He doesn't want to win, instead he's at the mercy of Malik Rosier, who has pictures of him with farm animals. Got it. Perry and Weldon were putting in the time, being leaders, doing what they needed to off the field, passing drug tests, not doing things the staff told them not to.....they were kicking *** in practice and leading the team, but Richt said, "You know what? I feel like losing. These 2 kids are a lot better, but **** that Malik kid, I just have to play him since I never recruited him and he throws like he might actually be a lefty. Let's ride"

This board gets dumber by the day.

Richt says Bryant won't be handed the job. But like you pointed out, we also had a one-sided QB competition where not everyone was competing on equal ground. I'm flat out convinced that if Bryant were to come here (I still think he goes to Arkansas bc of Chad Morris) or any viable GT QB, that they'll be the starter next year; not Perry or Williams because Richt will cite that they're not experienced or ready yet. That's what will really **** me off, because you had this wasted season to get them ready.

we would be more excited by staff changes, scheme changes transfer wise how about 3-4 road graders upfront
and a couple of stud DT's....................

If one of our QBs don't like it then they can beat him out and if they get their feelings hurt and transfer then good riddance because they weren't going to be stars anyway.
You mean, just like Kelly did? What is this fixation with a QB that did not pass the muster at another program?
