Anyone not wanting Kelly or another transfer is clueless

Disagree.

I’d rather be LSU or Michigan than so many of the other schools who sat on iffy QB(s) hoping for maturation/growth and watched as the entire team regressed (sound familiar?).

Nope. Get me a solid grad transfer and HELP THE PROSPECTIVE TRANSFERS PACK like Orgeron and Harbaugh did.

Also, I don’t think Bryant is the right guy.
To add on to that we should definitely be looking at atleast some juco players for tight end, oline, lb, dline

“We promise an opportunity to compete and they look at the situation,” Richt said. “Anytime a graduate transfer comes into the program he’s always promised an opportunity to play, to win that job. We’ve never said, `Hey, you’re going to start.’ We’ve never done that and you can’t do that, it’s not fair to everybody.”

It says beat his *** out! If you can play, show me and put this kid on the **** bench. Be a man and a leader and show me you're better.

Jesus, all you dudes sit around and jerk off to The U documentaries...how many times was it mentioned that the greatest competition those kids faced was on Greentree? The games were the easy part because the practices were so fierce. Now you're questioning what it will say to Jarren and Kosi if you bring in a kid to compete with them? You come to The U to compete. He's expecting immediate PT...**** right he is. As should Kosi and Jarren. Go take it.
First off I don’t think Kelly is coming here but if he did the competition wouldn’t be fair. Because Jon Richt isn’t in the same stratosphere with the type of coaching Kelly has had. Which is probably why Richt wants a grad transfer because he doesn’t want his son exposed as a fraud.

He wants a grad transfer because he wants to win. He wants to win because he wants to keep getting paid $4 million a year, and if he doesn't win he doesn't get paid. This is football...you guys make it out like it's some complicated thing.

Who would get kicked to the curb? The guy has 1 year to play. Nobody is leaving because Mark hurt their feelings by bringing in some competition.

And if they do, that's the kind of kid you think will lead the program where you want it to be?
They’ll leave because Mork can’t develop talent.

Mork said “it’s about family”. I believe him. It obviously isn’t about winning.

Next year will be 3rd year for Perry and Weldon and the 2nd for Williams and you’re telling none of them is developed enough to start and win games for us.

And bringing in Kelly Bryant affects that decision....how?

Again, there's ZERO downfall to this. Yeah, it might **** a few kids off. You sit everyone down and explain we lost 5 games this year (at least). We all need help, coaches included. Here's what I'm gonna change. Here's what you need to change. And we're going to bring in kids that we think can help. How is this any different that bringing in Michael Johnson Jr. to take these kid's job?

No, I'm telling them I'm bringing someone in here to compete with you. This is The University of Miami. You earn a spot. This kid isn't going to be given one, just like you weren't. But I'm bringing in competition at ALL spots. Incoming freshman are coming in to put your asses on the bench. So is Kelly Bryant. It's up to you to prove to me you should play. There's 85 spots on a team and only 22 start.

It doesn’t make sense I agree but that’s the ❄️ Mentality these days. Some of these kids need real leaders in there camp that can explain adversity and help them work through it

Worst case scenario is he comes in and raises the level of play from the back ups and one of them beats him out. It is about building depth and competition with quality players, if the other don't like they can beat him out.

Kelly won't come to Miami. Simply because he's not CMR's type of ball player. A bloody CHOIR BOY! And one more notion. The only way he does come here is if he's GUARANTEED the starting QB job. Because he isn't spending his senior season to stand on the sidelines.

I have no problem with him bringing Kelly in. My problem is with our QB coach not developing this kids.

Well... those QBs will have been here for 2 and 3 seasons. Bringing in a transfer means that in those 2 or 3 seasons, the coach hasn’t been convinced he has his QB. Why would they stay?

Grad transfers aren’t brought in to build competition for a season. Roster spots are too valuable for that. Recruits are.

If Mork brings in the transfer, it’s because he hasn’t developed the talent he already has.

Or because they're not as good as people thought they were.
Or because they're not working as hard as they should.
Or because they have poor attitudes.
Or because they can't stop smoking weed.

We're not there. We don't know. Yes, the bottom line is these are his kids and if they're not good players, he failed. No doubt. But every coach at every school whiffs on double digit kids every single class. All of em. Maybe he's doing this to kick Perry and Williams in the ***. Or maybe they just suck. Regardless, bringing a kid in to compete is never a bad thing. Saban brought in Jake Coker a few years ago. Is he a ****** coach?

It’s obvious this coaching staff isn’t doing it’s job. We don’t need to read entrails to see that.

True, but Bryant, is BETTER than what Miami currently has. The big cry is: “but the others will transfer” and I don’t care who transfers if they couldn’t beat out Malik Rosier. Again, Michigan and LSU had multiple QB transfers and their grad transfers services them well.

That’s said, I don’t think Bryant will come to Miami and Richt’s offense - even though I think he’s good for 11-1, 12-0 season.

Also. Perry = Jameis Winston with less football IQ, less football leadership skills and study habits and less non-football issues.
Jarren = ????

Didn't Bryant put an absolute whoopin on us a very short time ago?....

Yes he did. Just rewatched the highlights of that debacle.
Meh. I'll take him. JW and NP's fee fees can survive if he makes the mistake of coming here.
