And if you did can we get some updates? I know the stats were posted but stats don't always tell the story. How did our guys look? I've never seen a scrimmage where the 1s went against the 2s predominantly... Is that something Richt always does.

I was there. DL dominated. DBs looked good. Kaaya had a nice deep ball to Berrios. Ryan Mayes is consistently making plays, including a pick 6 on Tuesday and another pick yesterday. He is much improved. Mike Smith and Romeo Finley were active.

Ok Ryan Mayes getting some respect on his name and Norwestern name.

I always liked kids from the West. I hope he pushes my initial thoughts behind.

So happy to hear on Mayes. Hopefully he can become a player this year. What LB spot is Mike Smith playing? Is end out of the question for him?

So it's safe to say the db development is showing early with the new coaches? I don't know why anyone didn't expect anything less considering mike rumph has coached a plethora of 5star cbs and players as well as high 4star players

Thanks D$! Always appreciate your insight.

D, in your podcast you thought Finley was a little stiff? he still project to be a safety down the road in your opinion? Do you think he has the potential to be a player at safety?

Too early to say anything for sure, but it's better to see progress than regression.

He looked better with full contact, as I suspected. He's a guy with some burst who likes to come up and hit. SAM is not out of the question but Diaz likes physical safeties.

How did mccloud and Gerald Willis play? Why wasn't Richards on the stat sheet?

What's his current size?

When's the last time we heard that the DL dominated? That's the way it's supposed to be, good OL or not, this early in the fall.
