ANYONE ATTEND THE SCRIMMAGE?

Ryan Mayes is consistently making plays, including a pick 6 on Tuesday and another pick yesterday. He is much improved

I thought Mayes looked decent in his high school tape. He's got good length.

It was 1s vs 2s i think Richt wanted to see who'd emerge out of the second group... who can hang with the 1s

DL should dominate early, OL catches up later. I don't think dominating has been used to describe the DL in years.

He's soft AND he runs a 5 flat? Sounds like a prototype CB.

But they, say 40s dont mean nothing......hes football fast when he plays doe.

I was there. DL dominated. DBs looked good. Kaaya had a nice deep ball to Berrios. Ryan Mayes is consistently making plays, including a pick 6 on Tuesday and another pick yesterday. He is much improved. Mike Smith and Romeo Finley were active.

Not too many people were there. I was there on the offenses side of the field sweating like a pig. Really worried about that online. Mayes looked pretty good. DB's are playing good ball

D, in your podcast you thought Finley was a little stiff? he still project to be a safety down the road in your opinion? Do you think he has the potential to be a player at safety?

He looked better with full contact, as I suspected. He's a guy with some burst who likes to come up and hit. SAM is not out of the question but Diaz likes physical safeties.

How did mccloud and Gerald Willis play? Why wasn't Richards on the stat sheet?

Richard's was limping around the field.

Does Gus still believe he is a scat back?

No surprise to me that he ran tentative considering he just came back from a lisfranic foot injury....

Gustav didn't run tentative at all. Had a couple decent runs. 1 of about 10 yards but he's running hard. Oline not really helping much. Question is the dline that dominant or does oline really suck.
