Anyone agree that Virginia Tech will be a battle? 11/21

I’d have to see them play.
You’re lying if you said you watched them play VMI or ODU. Or took anything from those games.

I did see their OL graded out horribly against ODU by PFF. Not sure how much value there is in PFF OL grades. But at the same time, it’s about all we have at this point to judge them. And it’s not good.

I agree. I need to see Va Tech and Pitt play someone with a pulse. Both teams have the potential to be difficult. That's not to say the Canes won't win.

I do think Wake will be a challenge for at least the first half; that's as long as Gio Lopez isn't more hobbled with his ankle than is public. It's nuts that we may be back to the same defensive secondary situation as Cam's year , depending on the offense to score as much as possible.

watching some highlights of the ODU game, ODU was in the backfield all day long, The former PSU qb moves around nicely, and got it to the former PSU TE...The VT defense was aggressive, but it was ODU. ODU gifted them 21 points, but VT fumbled going into the end zone, so it was only 14 points. They will be better, but the o-line for VT is porous.

There’s a distinct difference— these backups being thrust into meaningful minutes actually are talented and will improve each game
