Anyone agree that Virginia Tech will be a battle? 11/21

Did I teleport back to Manny Diaz coaching us? VT has beaten who for anyone to think this will be anything more than just another game? They hire Franklin play VMI, look like dookie vs Old Dominion and this is a conversation piece going into WF.
Okay, looking at that one a bit linear maybe?
Are we a molded finished product?
No.
Canes in a couple aspects are a work in progress.

Franklin brought a to. Of his ex-employers players and recruits— so he isn’t necessarily bringing i 45 portal kids here….

They have an equal amount of time to be what they’re gonna be— as do we…

Not unrealistic to contemplate them being a much better team than recent decade I. A couple kk the time

The portal can turn a team around real fast. At least for 1 year.

Sure, VT can be a better team than what they have been, but they're in rebuild mode, where Miami is a team working out kinks that are dominating in the process. Did you watch them play OD and say, " Man, they are going to be a problem for Miami"? After these past two weeks and seeing both these teams play. Do you feel there isn't a large margin of talent and coaching difference between the two? That these two teams are in different worlds from each other?

I hope VT does get better, but unless Miami falls asleep like they have these past two seasons, I don't see us skipping a beat. I believe this is more fear of us dropping games when we shouldn't vs. us going out each week and making a statement. We can play devil's advocate on what if this happens or that happens, but I don't think anyone outside of Blacksburg or a few shell-shocked Canes fans thinks VT will be much of a game. Miami has a 90% chance to win right now.

It’s early— I have my daughter flying down from Penn state (pains me she chose there) to attend her first Canes tailgate & game!

Won’t be a walkover I suspect— but not sweating it just yet

Too soon to say- but I’m so glad my daughter can see what a real game, real match-up with potential NFL players really is like versus bum f**k state college!
Pic of your daughter?

Gotta see how they look in a competitive game before any sort of definitive opinion. They didn’t let ODU cuck them though, so that in itself is improvement.

Umms guys....it would be one **** of a time for Franklin to start winning a "big game". This roster didnt get overturned completely. Worried, no. Will it be a UM blow out, not likely. But we win by 14+.

Walked into that one… I thought some things were scared (I was wrong)
And no— no chance

I just don't see how teams will stop our offense if we continue to improve.

Mensah is in full command and knows where he's going before the snap; it's going to be hard for defenses to disguise themselves against us.
