I agree with a lot of that, but the portion who fly the flag as a sign of hate and bigotry has tainted the symbolism of the flag.

I have no problem with someone being proud of their southern heritage or even proud of being white. In today's society, if you speak out about eiter though, you're likely to be labeled a racist due to the actions of the few.

Southern pride? Now its making more sense. You are clueless and have been living under a rock too long! You can't create a new narrative by stating the confederate flag now stands for something new like pride not slavery. Go kick rocks with that BS! In checking his Wiki profile, this guy was a great player and he paid his dues as a coach, working his way up. He's not a Dorito whose butt buddy made him a DC and wouldn't fire his idiot ***.
