His first class at BAMA was 2014, second was 2015. He recruits more than south florida. He has landed more 5 star recruits at Bama the last 2 years than Miami has had in TOTAL the last 10.

Yes Saban signs off on every recruit, yes Saban is a big reason for this success. But it still does not take away from the fact that nearly every HS coach in south Florida loves Mario, respects Mario, and would like to see him at Miami. Why is that difficult to comprehend?

No agenda, I share the same sentiment as dozens of other south florida coaches. You werent calling Butch a "Traitor" for the last 2 months? What coach in the rightful mind would turn down a major pay increase and opportunity to work for Saban and stay at Miami where the coaching morale was in the dumpster? Look how many of Goldens closest OPS guys jumped ship, Guys like McNamee, Doughtery and Boomer, wtf. Oh but Mario should have stuck it out... GTFOH

Mario wants to be in Miami. He still has his house here. His family lives here. His wife is here all the time. If we can get him as OL coach or TE coach that would be great. Why is it ok for other coaches to come and go at Miami as they have done for the last 30 years but not Mario? If he got an opportunity to come back he would, if that opportunity then presented an opportunity to be a head coach again at another program why would we not support him in that move?
