Don't trust these BOT morons to select anyone with a vision. Shalala is the only President we've had who was nationally known for anything, but look where we are today: Problems with the Med School, a declining academic ranking, and an athletic department that should be totally blown up and reorganized from the bottom up.

It all comes down to money. This school doesn't spend what it has wisely and therefore has to do everything on the cheap. Bad combination of poor vision, lack of good management, poor spending with little return for it, and no real use for the students and alums except for how many $$$$ they can get out of them to waste again. It's still the Cardboard College with a fancier physical plant.
