Any one see the sbnation article Sean Gleeson possible OC

Looks like a Alf Gluten Special. And if this is true, then it confirms what I suspected - Richt is looking to bring in a super young guy to not make any waves and maybe be the passing game coordinator. That's about it.
 
Princeton is only like 1 1/2 hrs away from me and so I’ve been to a game before

He’s actually a good fit for cmr
His scheme is very similar to cmr’s just a better version and he’s a much better situational play caller

But the overall concepts are similar enough that I think cmr could swallow it without a problem which I think is key.

It’s like if Diaz was a hc I would bet he would get a dc who runs a 4-3 style or a 425

Not anymore. Their QB put up record breaking numbers and their offense was good. They went undefeated. I saw something about him on Bleacher Report or 24/7 maybe but that is all I know about him.

I saw it, that's about the only different the one guy motion, but if you look at the overall concepts, they're all very similar.
His play-calling might be better though, that i didn't look at. Can't be that hard to be better as predictable as a clock.

I don't know if he is UM ready yet...but I was the first to mention him as a guy if we go cheap (check the logs) a while back.

His scheme is good. With what he has at his disposal, he absolutely gets the maximum from it.

I like the guy's resume so far quite a bit and think it'd be a good fit...just not sure if he's ready for THIS right now.

If Miami swings and misses on some of the bigger names...at least its an effort to improve the offense. Beggars can't be choosers at this point, I guess. But, I like Gleeson as an up and comer.
 
If we were to get a coordinator, I’m not going to EXPECT a big splash hire because we’re not the only team looking for a new oc, I mean didn’t usc just fire there’s?

Yeah, I knew that/shoulda put a laugh emoji up with my comment. That Single Wing attack WAS hard to stop back in the day. Last Ivy League HC we hired as OC was Whipple who I liked a lot at first. Then it sorta went downhill.
