Any idea on Barkate’s ….

I don't care because that's not what we're bringing him in for. He's not here to blow the top off coverages. To me, he's the security blanket type possession receiver. As long as he knows how to manipulate defenders to find open space, I'm good. And from all accounts last year, he was great at it.

I watched Vaughn and didn't see Phillip Dorsett or Travis Benjamin speed. Am I wrong?

Amazing YPC average, but I didn't see speed?

I don’t believe he’s fast as them. But he’s fast enough and skilled enough to keep a defense honest.

Instead of being a 1 trick where’s he’s only fast but not skilled or skilled but not fast enough, he seems to check both boxes

Vaughn compares to a taller Jacolby George on the outside. Quick side to side, with jump ball ability.

I read he had a 4.6 speed out of hs. But noted by coaches as having elite game speed. But I found this on a site called draft scout

some of you guys are way too sensitive. not a single poster has dogged him, it was a simple question.

we all know a 40 time doesnt define a wr. we all know what his stats are.

if he gets out in the open(which he will plenty), is he likely outrunning everyone else on the field or not? thats the question.
Thank you. It was a simple question to exactly address this.

Perfectly stated. Any good wr needs to have a speed element game rather you realize the intimate details or not. Sure a qb can throw. guy open, having great hands help etc. but if your slow you aren't getting open against elite db's which is what Miami needs to be the best.

Xavier restrepo has better stats at Miami than brian Blades, brett perriman etc but best believe Im taking both of those guys over restrepo

If Becker runs a 4.3 he's going top 15! 6-4, 200 lbs with great hands, production and 4.3 speed?
His 100m was 11.47 as a Sr in HS. Thornton who ran a 4.30 at the combine ran a 11 flat in the 100m as a Soph. Trust me- I know 100 isn't the 40, puberty hits late, S&C prog etc. But a 4.3???

Do you remember how fast Reggie Wayne was? Barkate has similar speed and style of play.

No, I'm not saying he's going to be as good as Wayne.
