Size speed athleticism. He just has bad hands and had injuries at Clemson. Ability is there just very inconsistent hurt and drops. What made him a 4-5 star? What is he producing now?

Is it drops? Effort? Understanding of the game?He still sucks
When we played them in 2020 he hurt us and I remember him being all alone wide open and he dropped a TD ball with not a soul around lolKid has major wheels!! I
thought he was an elite prospect coming out of hs!!
At 6-foot-3, 207 pounds with 4.44 speed, last season, Ladson was regarded as the fastest receiver on the roster.
"Frank is definitely the fastest receiver on the team," said (Amari) Rodgers, who had reported unofficial pro day 40-yard dash times of 4.44 and 4.52, in a preseason interview. "When we were racing this summer, he beat me by a couple of yards, which I’m going to get him back. I told him that."

Speed Kills
The Clemson offense lost speedy running back Travis Etienne to the NFL and will have to find other players to make explosive plays. Speed and explosion are almost synonymous in football and can suddenly change the tempo of a game on either side of the ball. Who has the most speed in 2021?clemsonsportstalk.com
Hoping sarcasmIs it drops? Effort? Understanding of the game?
He's 6-3 210, runs a 4.4 & was one of the top receivers in his class. Was not sarcastic in the least.Hoping sarcasm
Drops/effortIs it drops? Effort? Understanding of the game?
Throw out the statistics. They are meaningless without context. The young man has had a lot of injuries. It's not like he was healthy and just sitting the bench. The fact is he had 3 years at Clemson and caught 4,18, and 9. I hope he surprises all of us, but the likelihood is that George and X and maybe Mallory will outpace him in receptions.
It's not "meaningless." It's history. More meaningless is folks speculating that he will reach the potential contemplated out of high school based on nothing other than hope or speculation or his Rivals ranking several years ago. I hope I'm wrong but it'd be wishful thinking to believe based on what we know that he's going to be a significant contributor.Throw out the statistics. They are meaningless without context. Hopefully he's healthy, stays healthy, and is productive.
The conclusion of Fall camp should tell us what we need to know.
Come on bro Ladson does not suck. He hasn't lived up to his potential. He just has to put it all together. He still sucks
Who gives a ***** about all that BS. What can he do today? That's what matters not that he caught 9 balls in 2020 or whenever it was and no context as to why!!!It's not "meaningless." It's history. Likely not even a top 5 WR on team with a very mediocre receiving core. That should tell you all you need to
If Ladson could get playing time at Clemson. He should be able to get playing time and contribute at Miami.Kid has major wheels!! I

Couldn’t agree more. At least we know if he doesn’t play well in his opportunities he’ll be held accountable. While not record setting, he was clearly better than ladson. Let's just hope frank can stay healthy and catch the ball when he gets opportunities.
