Any chance that Duke will stay for his senior season?

is it possible? yes. is it probable, no.

he should go and earn his money. he deserves it. he has been the best talent we've had here in a decade and has been exemplary on and off the field.

He needs to go and start getting paid. Love for him to stay but it wouldnt be right for his future and his family. He can always come back and finish his degree. He will be a top five RB taken in the draft, third round the latest.

So it is clear that Duke is going to get the rock 30+ times in the next 4 games. I love the combo route they ran him for the touchdown. They're going to feature him in spread, pro set, wildcat and they're going to throw him the ball. I bet you he'll throw out of the wildcat in the next 4 games.

The fact that he is good in pass pro and he catches the ball in space will get him into the second round. If he were bigger and the NFL held a higher premium on running backs these days he'd be a first rounder. He's gone and he should be because he's not going to get much bigger and there is money to be made at the next level.

That being said with Yearby and the studs we're bringing in next year we'll be more than fine. The fact that Edwards ran as hard as he did last night is really encouraging.

First round eval. He goes. Second maybe. Third he stays

RBs hardly go in the first round anymore, Gurley will be the first back taken and probably the only one to go in the first round. After him who knows but it's a deep group. Melvin Gordon, Mike Davis, Yeldon, Abdullah all could go before Duke. Combine numbers will be a deciding factor of who goes where. No matter what I think Duke should leave.

with Scarlet and Dexter + Walton coming in... Duke needs to go make that $

We will have

Yearby, Scarlet, Dexter + Walton (redshirt) and Gus as backup

if we had Duke back I am sure we would kill it but risk of injury + enough in the stable..we needs to hit the draft

Duke loves The U, I guarantee his decision process doesn't flow like some of you hopeless posters on here. He came to TheU to win for his city and as of now he hasnt done so..I believe he will return, and end his senior season being our all-time rushing leader with an appearance in the ACCCG. But what do I know, I didnt mention our coach or Butch so my validity probably isn't very high for the site.

I'll think less of him if he returns. He's a millionaire go get yo money lil homie you earned it.

Ray Lewis
Ed reed
Sean Taylor
Duke Johnson
Dan Morgan

My greatest canes of all time with playmaker and Sapp honorable mentions

JJ IS MY COACH

First round eval. He goes. Second maybe. Third he stays

Doesn't really matter. NFL knows what he can do, staying an extra year only puts miles on the body. RBs aren't priority picks anymore, he needs to get the rookie contract started as fast as possible. RBs make the big money on the 2nd contract.

Will leave here as one of the best ever at the position. Probably will own most of the all time records.

**** no unless he gets hurt, that young man is going to collect the check he earned.

The way that boy running he looks like he is looking for a pay day. He gone. Trying to boost his stock. We need to keep feeding him.
