Any chance of flipping Khairi Clark?

From what I've heard on the boards he overslept for a Golden camp and haven't heard a positive word about him since. Not worried, Valentine was the catch and truth be told I'm shocked we landed him but we did. Can't hate on Jethro's recruiting this cycle, lets see his results. Valentine, Stuckey, and Jenkins are all guys I have a high level of confidence in so lets win some ****** games, close on the commits, and the future looks good.

Valentine by a landslide is the most important kid in this class IMO. Him, KC, CT, and Yearby are the headliners of the class and those 4 guys are as good as anybody in the country as far as I'm concerned. Very impressed with the top end of this class.

This staff has very little tolerance for anything less than 100% effort and I think that is becoming clear to recruits. People don't change; there are kids that want to slide by with just talent and no effort(I think we have had our share of those) and kids that want to become the best they can. Al wants the second group. Kids from the first group are getting the message and will go to place they think they can slide. One would think the STA kid would fit Al's wants better. I am sure oversleeping put at least a ? on Clark's picture and maybe a big old X. Golden doesn't want any more "list kids". They take up to much time. Time better spent on recruiting and coaching. Not having lists to deal with this year has enabled the staff to beat the weeds for recruits even more.

I think we got the best DT from FL in Valentine, would love to add Clark but sounds like that ship has sailed. Moten would be a great finish to a very good DT class

Moten seems to offer some versatility IMO as he can play some 3-4 DE or slide inside to DT with the weight he's adding.

Clark needs to show he can dominate consistently and that he's got his head in this thing.

I was a big fan of Clark but after seeing him get worked over and over again on the camp circuit I question his competiveness and work ethic. He should have been dominant on the circuit and was not. ****, people try to compare him to Forston but MF DOMINATED everywhere he went that summer. Was eating Olineman for dinner. Thats why he got that 5th star before his senior year. Clark got lazy last year. He was probably sold on the fact that he could be the next Easley by Muschamp. We will see..

Was not a big fan of Moten to be honest. I just dont see that dominant DNA in him. I am excited to see him his senior year manning the line by himself without Bosa.

Can I get some video confirmation of Clark getting "worked over and over"?

Let's be serious here, he's a 2 gap run stopper. You can find those anywhere nowadays. See: Corey king, Darius smith, earl Moore, etc.

Some knowledgeable people have told me that Nick Bosa was the best player on STA's DL last year, so Moten won't be on an island this year.

Clark's athleticism completes blows all those players away. Clark's combination of size and explosiveness is rare and he's a potential first round defensive tackle because of it.

Moten is much more of a limited run defender than Clark is.

That said, Clark can also easily turn into Antonio Dixon if he doesn't get his act together. Or he does and turns into Louis Nix and is a first rounder in 3/4 years.

That kids has a motor. Saw them play a couple of times on TV and was stunned how good that kid is for his age. I know he's a long shot, but we should be all over him for 2016. Regarding Moten though, I think he's very good. I think Clark is also very good. Clark's got a bigger frame from what I've seen, but I think explosiveness is about the same. Clark doesn't have an elite first step in the film I saw, it's good though....especially for his size.

Courcy75, some videos were posted a few months ago when the camp circuit was full throttle. He was not dominant at all. I dont know if thats your boy or not. But he looked very average. I must not be the only one who thinks that because he dropped in the rankings pretty bad. Also, someone on here posted that they went to a CM game last year and buddy was so out of shape he only played like 20-25 snaps..Smh.

Lots of insiders in this thread. Lol

Rationalize rationalize rationalize, if Clark was committed here he would be the best in the state. At least for once we got the best one in the state in Valentine, but our fans rationalize everything.
