Any chance of flipping Khairi Clark?

After we got Valentine, there's not been much talk of him. If we get Moten there will be even less talk of Clark.
 
Clark was always my favorite...but Moten is growing on me. Highlights were much better than his soph's:

He's also alot bigger now than I had originally thought.

Clark is more talented than Moten though, isn't he?

Not really, different type of player....Clark is a true DT/NT type...while Moten is more DT/SDE

Moten, Clark has talent....but his work ethic is highly questionable.

I would take Clark without a doubt but Moten is no slouch. I think he could fit well with what we are trying to do on defense, though I admit I'm not 100% sure what that is yet.

I've always been critical of Clark(even when he was a Cane lean and everyone was riding his jock) but he has as much upside as any DT I've seen lately but he has a long way to go.

Clark has alot to prove this year. He's this year's Keith Bryant. Dominant as a junior but picked up some bad weight between his jr and sr seasons. I'd be worried about his work ethic. Moten seems to be growing into his body and still filling out.

Agreed 100%. I think Clark in our S&C program could be terrifying, but Moten could be great too no doubt.
 
Moten did a good job of staying home on those spread runs. Looks disciplined and well coached, not surprising coming from STA

Lu pointed out that Moten uses his hands very well for a young guy. That's something it seems we like in our DL we recruit. I like his versatility too.
