Man I love to drink the cool aide, but at same time theres lots of unknowns. Are we really that good and is maybe UF just might be that bad ? talking about ACC play is FSU just really bad or then again might GT and BC be kind of be sneaky good. I kind of think that BC might be sneaky good. that dam qb Is pretty good. Everyone is saying that the QB play is the difference. Well home boy at BC is pretty dam good. Just saying. I do think we have a chance but we too have Issues a head of us. wondering what you guys think. What are the road block games guys see. Doesn't have to be a loss but who's are issue games that you for see. Chit we had these games when we were stupid stacked so its not like it cant happen.

GT and BC are okay to good up front. That's really it and it's where FSU sucks the most.
Both run these weird spread scheme with exotic runs that force eye discipline and good schemeing. FSU has neither. They got killed against the same QB counter play twice in a row and the second time, the gain was bigger.
And the BC QB isn't that good. 10/16 for 106 is pure game management and nothing more.
We're our biggest enemy. If we play disciplined football, not a single team on the schedule beats us.

Last week we had guys saying we were going to barely squeak by UFag or possibly lose to them at their house. We went in and blew that *** up.
Now we have folks questioning whether the success goes to our heads and should we be worried about everyone.

With the talent they had last year, it was closer to a 10-win team than what it showed on the field. The offense was hamstrung without someone to pull the trigger. We see the difference at Miami and inversely, at FSU. Not to rag on a kid, but DJU is their TVD. Cristobal has stacked talent where it counts: up front. If they don't like who they have on campus, the film from this year will help get any portal QB to come play behind this line and surrounded by the talent at RB and WR.

Well we had no issues against the same guys last year. We shut them both down. FSU struggled against BC last year too. We just had TVD and a brain fart. Obviously don't underestimate anyone but we should roll those turds.

BC QB is an elite runner and average thrower. He's the same QB we faced last year and with a worse team beat 45-20 at their building. GT is better than BC IMO and it took them the miracle of all miracles to beat us by 3 after TVD gave them 3 picks and we held that vaunted rushing attack to under 100 yards and the QB was the leading rusher. The game that "scares" me the most this year is Louisville. They've got a **** good coach, very good offense, and a guy that can wreck a game on defense in Gillotte, not to mention we play in Louisville this year. If we are going to have a slip up, I see it being that game.

Miami has a loaded team for the first time in forever and a game-changer at quarterback like we've never seen in the modern era of college football.
We need Cam Ward to stay healthy, as Florida State saw their season go to **** in a handbag when Jordan Travis went down last fall.
Schedule is super-friendly and you have to trust that an alpha dog like Ward is going to keep this team focused in a way that even coaches couldn't; this is his team and he has the guys' buy in.
Can they slip up and have a bad game? Sure. This isn't Georgia or Alabama with a model of consistency and a proven ability to stay focused, but Miami won't face any team in paper that is better than them until the playoffs.
Need to pray this team can win out with this schedule while others fall; really need a Top 4 placement in the playoffs and a bye—as well as home field as far as that can go and then the season comes down to a Georgia, an Ohio State, a Texas or someone of that caliber who Miami will be facing for all the marbles.
This isn't the past 16 years; this program started spending money three years ago—went out and got a reach coach, who got real coordinators and brings a blank check in his recruiting battles. That is some next-level stuff that we haven't ever seen before at The U and it's why people should stop over-worrying to enjoy the ride.
Can this team win it all? Probably not, as there are some elder statesmen programs who have been running at a high level longer ... but should they be written off when you have a potential Heisman-winner at quarterback and what looks to be a high octane offense and super-solid defense? Absolutely not.

After 40+ years as a Miami fan, I am always concerned about the chatter. So many times I have watched us play down to the competition, read your own press, etc. Big time town for big time games but small games tend to be irritating. I will say, something about this team seems and feels different. Hopeful this is back to an era of the Miami Beatdowns where we are concerned that our QB has not gotten enough snaps cause he’s out the entire second half with a 56-0 type score. Keep them injuries down and score like mad!!!

We control our destiny in terms of having a top 4 seed and a 1st round bye in the playoffs. We have to win the ACC. That is an automatic top 4 placement.

UF - I don't think they're a bad team. They'll win 5-6 games. Do I think they're good? Eh not really. They're avg. Billy may catch lightning with Lagway and go with him til the wheels come off. Their schedule is really tough and the 50/50 games have some matchups that don't go in their favor.
BC - their QB isn't good lol he's a fun college QB cause he can run around but he can't pass for dog**** (pun intended)
GT - stop the run and you stop them. FSU got gutted by GT and Haynes King only killed them cause he could get outside and FSU can't contain worth a ****. Last year, we shut them down til the very last drive. I expect us to want revenge this year and absolutely embarrass them in Atlanta. Guidry takes stopping the run serious and I trust the safeties to not bite and give up big plays over the top (Hi Kam

For all the talking: I don't think it'll distract this team. I think if your QB is Malik Rosier, you'd be ****ed. I truly believe that this team has enough leaders at every position group to keep the team focus and hungry.
