You mean the same rest of the team that was talking about "bringing the U" back and was all in just 2 years ago? Remember Tracy Howard's "Why not do it at home" that got so much run?

2-3 years of trusting the coaches and going against your instincts just to have nothing to show for it will make an upperclassmen bitter. If Golden is around at this time next year excluding some miracle season that sees the team win 10 games, Chad Thomas and others will feel what the older guys are feeling now.

I think the Coaches will bring him in for a talk and this gets sorted out. They are probably going to do everything they can to keep him here by promising him more opportunities and all that jazz. I can't believe they are just going to say ok and let him walk. Sometimes this kind of situation ends up being a good thing. (Obviously sometimes it doesn't and they both just split and move on)

I don't think staff is intellectually honest enough to reach a compromise with a player or anyone else who has a different opinion. Blind faith or you're the enemy. For example: the media, the explayers and the fans. Bad situation with a good player
