...of the second round...

I guess it took a lot of ****ty play for him to fall out of the first round, so maybe TVD has a shot to be drafted highly too if he goes pro after this year...

That’s a lot of people making a lot of money that are really dumb if they consider this kid before a 5th round if even that.

He will go several rounds before that. Absolutely limitless potential, but certainly a lot of risk. IMO this is one of the most "situational" picks that I can remember. In the right system with proper development, he can be great. Without that, he's going to struggle mightily and probably completely wash out.

Fascinating case-study. His range of outcomes is as variable as any kid I can remember.

I don’t see limitless potential at the position he plays. Have never seen it be successful at the next level. This kid is nowhere near close to a Lamar Jackson because Lamar actually performed in college. I have never seen a QB with his TD/Int ratio get this much hype.

5th round or later.

I think with NIL that we can take the guardrails off and just label some of these decisions as purely moronic. This isn't a "kid needs money so momma can pay her power bill" situation or "kid doesn't want to sit a year to transfer". Ones like this are either the kid is delusional and/or is surrounded by legit mongoloids.

Mistake but I get it. Get the bag young man. He needed another year or two developing. More snaps would've benefited him. He's a dynamic runner but a below average passer of the ball. If he can land somewhere where he'll be allowed to sit and learn for a year or two it'll be good for him.

A real guru like Andy Reid could do work with this guy. It’s all about who drafts him. Him leaving makes more sense than people think. He likely falls to a team that’s not god awful and doesn’t need him to play asap. No pressure of being the savior. In 3-4 years after developing you could have something. Plenty of raw talent there.

He's got an absolute howitzer for an arm and he's built like a linebacker with legit speed.

Right this second, he's one of the 5 fastest QBs in the league and has one of the 5 strongest arms. That's what I mean by unreal potential. You can't teach that, and very few humans on the planet have that type of ability. That's what potential is. But clearly he needs to become much better as a passer. And he might never be able to. Hence the reason he's a gigantic risk/reward pick. But to say he's going to be drafted in the 5th round is beyond laughable.

Haha. I like where your head is at. That said, it might've been better if he ate up all the snaps next year and they truly had new QB in 2024 when we play them.

Sooooooo...

The Gaytors might have (literally) ONE healthy decent quarterback on the roster next year.

Kitna's in jail. The other HS recruit got dropped for being racist. There might be another guy, but he's been injured all year.

Jaden Rashada really needs to earn that $11 million...

Yes he’s a fantastic athlete and there’s plenty of raw talent. But for goodness sake, there are just some guys that you can’t teach accuracy, and I think he’s one of them. Maybe I’m wrong, but touch and accuracy are not as easy to teach as people think they are. I said this a million times before - you can go to any playground and find guys that have incredible arms. They’re not in the league.

You mean he goes higher or lower?
