We might have a shot here. He's from the city and not really the sticks of Arkansas. Central isn't exactly a top team in the area but they have a freshman QB that was considered one of the best youth players in the country. To be honest despite having big country boys I'm always disappointed in the bland coaching they get

Gotta keep expanding the DT board. Johnson at NW via Ft. Myers seems like the only major DT we have traction with. Need 2 or 3 in the class with two of them being ready to contribute early next season.

This is the BIGGENS we need not 250 DT , if we’re not careful we’ll be pushed off the field by 350 pound OL of our competitors.

We won’t even be able to practice against our OL we’ll have no beef to stand our ground .

Sign this beast NOW! We need more elite DTs to strengthen our DL side of the trenches.

And stop scavenging for starter DTs out of the portal every **** year.

DT is a position of need and there are multiple names in play. Along with the aforementioned Brown, the Canes will be hosting Keyshawn Stancil (Raleigh, NC) and Anthony Kennedy (Little Rock, AR). .....Kennedy is a newer name (former Missouri commit) with big-time size and movement skills at 6'4, 335 pounds. He didn't visit in spring so this is still a learning process on both sides. Miami visited both guys during the evaluation process and loved them.​

The Canes just landed the #1 player in the country, and now they want to make a move towards the #1 class. Here is the latest on all the visitors headed into a loaded recruiting weekend:

- There is momentum with elite RB Derrek Cooper (Chaminade). I would peg Miami as the leader going into the weekend. It's still a battle, though, with Ohio State and Texas right there. I'd place Georgia behind those three at the moment. Cooper is a huge priority, as Miami does not want to lose the most talented player in South Florida. They're focused on changing that narrative.

The Canes hosted 17 recruits this weekend for official visits, and the staff is happy with it how it went. Here is the latest on each visitor:

- Miami continues to move in the right direction for RB Derrek Cooper (Chaminade). He's an extremely high priority recruit and enjoyed learning about the different ways this offense can feature his speed (10.7 100M). I liked Miami going into the visit and still feel that way.

- Top-ranked WR Tristen Keys (Hattiesburg, MS) made his third visit to Miami and continues to express significant interest. This weekend was...
