Just let Blount stay in his role at DE and take over Bain's role. Grab an actual DT in the portal like Blay

The only thing I questioned with Blount is his ability to bend. He’s athletic and twitchy, doesn’t mean he excels at bending. He can probably still be an effective DE just off of power and athleticism alone.

He’s been playing a lot of DT this year and has looked great… hope he’s embraced that 3tech role

Love our class and our ends, but I really thought we’d be able to land some 5 stars when you factor in we had the 2 best DE’s in the country, a scheme they should be drooling to play in, defense that has been dominant all season, 10 wins and JT recruiting them.

Bain and Mesidor weren’t 5stars. We took three kids at DE. I suspect we take at least one in the portal.

Also we did get some guys who are in that same range coming out of high school that Bain was. Around a composite of 70 for Charles and I believe Stancil is close to that as well. I would have liked a 5 star though. I think we are proving the concept though and look next year our two deep will be 5 stars and top 100 guys. Who thought we would be in this position 5-6 years ago?
